About the Silk Road Dream Train introduction:
The ‘Silk Road Dream Train’ was renovated by Qingdao CRRC Sifang. The entire train consists of 15 carriages, including 10 fully independent bathroom sleeper carriages and 4 multi-functional supporting carriages (including 2 dining cars), totaling 38 VIP rooms and accommodating up to 80 guests. Among them, the train is equipped with the country’s first multi-functional 270-degree panoramic windows, which have passed multiple safety tests for 600 hours. The constant temperature electric heating function can remove fog and frost, clearly presenting the scenery along the route.
The train has specially invited the Academy of Arts and Design of Tsinghua University to complete the exterior design. The entire train is hand-painted, with the main design element being Chinese Han Dynasty cloud patterns. The color scheme adopts tones complemented by the red of Han Dynasty lacquerware, giving an elegant and serene beauty.
With the concept of being a ‘high-quality resort on the move’, the train blends the cultural essence of ancient Han Dynasty with modern aesthetics, turning the train into a destination.
