This is the Irtysh River. The sound of flowing water is too loud. It has typical granite landforms. These trees have grown out of the rocks. I don’t know how they survive. The north bank is eroded rocks, while the south bank is lush and verdant. The Creator is truly magical.
D3, Fuyun County – Burqin
In the morning, heading in the direction of Kanas, you are already very close to the border. However, this is where the scenery in the promotional image of Burqin – Kanas was taken; it is indeed very beautiful.
Wolong Bay is named after the island in the middle that resembles a dragon’s shape. The water is clear and the mountains are green; it is extremely beautiful. The terrain here is gentler, and it feels a bit like the regions south of the Yangtze River, but such landscapes could not be nurtured here. The essence is still different.
D5, Jiadengyu – Fuhai – Ghost City
Karamay – Karamay itself is an oil city, and most of its residents are oilfield workers from various places, so it feels similar to cities in the hinterland. Have a steamed stuffed bun for breakfast.
Scenery along the way, in Xinjiang, you can feel the taste of freedom at any time. When you see the endless horizon, you will realize that your troubles are not worth mentioning at all.
