The best travel season in Xinjiang is from June to October. The temperature is suitable during this time (some scenic spots are closed in winter). 2. Hemu | The Fairy-Tale World of Kanas
A river, a forest and grassland, an ancient ethnicity and village—this is the beautiful Hemu, a fairy-tale world of Kanas. After the spring breeze passes, the grassland turns green, and colorful wildflowers bloom vigorously. By climbing up the small hills around the Hemu Village, you can overlook the panorama. The rows of neatly arranged Tuwa people’s cottages blend naturally and harmoniously with the surrounding environment.
3. The fertile Bayinbrok Grassland
Most tourists to Yili will visit the famous Nalati Grassland, while only photography enthusiasts will venture to Bayinbrok. Here lies another face of Xinjiang, a wetland plateau meadow with winding streams and rivers. Only when you arrive here will you realize that Xinjiang is not just about deserts and Gobi, but also about the soft beauty of Jiangnan in the north. Within the Bayinbrok Grassland, there are famous landscapes such as Bayinbrok Swan Lake and the Nine-Bend and Eighteen-Turn River. In June, you can observe birds from a close distance, and the scenery is absolutely breathtaking.
4.赛里木湖|湖光山色中的烂漫花海
赛里木湖位于新疆西部，紧靠伊犁霍城等地，绝大部分游客在游玩新疆西线（即伊犁线）时都会来到这里。赛里木湖背靠雪山，湖边是广阔的草原，即使你看过了喀纳斯湖、西藏的纳木错，初见赛里木湖时，也会被它的美所惊艳。

7.喀拉峻大草原
喀拉峻山横亘其间，呈东西向，绵绵延延，长42公里。北连喀甫萨朗沟，南接琼库什台，宽25公里。山峦起伏跌宕，生长着茂密的雪岭云杉，苍苍莽莽。山顶是浑然一体向南倾斜的高台地貌，犹如一座悬空草场。

那拉提草原位于新源县那拉提镇东部，名列世界四大河谷草原之一，与瑞士山地齐名。地势由东南向西北倾斜。原野上山泉密布，溪流似网，河道交错，森林繁茂，被人们誉为“空中草原”。那拉提草原自古以来就是著名的牧场。河谷、山峰、深峡、森林交相辉映。
