The Tianshan Express tourist train takes 14 days and departs from Urumqi, passing through Beitun, Yining, Turpan, Kucha, Aksu, Kashgar, and other major tourist cities in Xinjiang. This journey not only covers the geographical features of Xinjiang’s ‘three mountains and two basins’ but also connects popular attractions such as Tianshan Tianchi Lake, Kanas, Sayram Lake, Nalati Grassland, and Kashgar Old Town into a single route, truly realizing a worry-free journey with unlimited fun throughout Xinjiang.
The Tianshan Express tourist train offers a variety of car types, including hard sleeper cars, soft sleeper cars, bar cars, multi-functional leisure cars, and dining cars, to meet the needs of different tourists. The interior of the cars is beautifully decorated, with each car featuring a different scenery from six major regions: Altay, Aksu, Ili, Turpan, Hami, and Kashgar. Through the use of paintings, decorations, and other graphic and textual methods, the natural scenery and cultural folklore of Xinjiang are deeply integrated, creating a strong regional atmosphere.
The Tianshan Express plans to operate 13 schedules throughout 2025. The specific schedule plans are as follows:
