Xinjiang is rich in tourism resources, with various tourist attractions across the region and a plethora of self-paid activities (such as horse riding, cruise ships, etc.). Please wear suitable shoes and pay attention to safety (horse riding is a high-risk recreational activity, and personal accident insurance for tourists does not cover this activity, so please be sure to take caution). Carry some cash with you. When participating in private self-paid tourism projects, please keep your valuables safe to avoid damage or loss. Nature’s ingenious craftsmanship has carved the flat earth into a landscape of well-arranged gullies. After millions or even billions of years of erosion, incredible geological wonders have formed, adorned with magnificent colors, gullies, and perilous peaks.
Like a gorgeous ribbon floating on the northern slope of the Tianshan Mountains, the Anjihai Grand Canyon in Xinjiang is a breathtakingly beautiful gorge. Known as Xinjiang’s "most beautiful highway," the Duku Highway (also known as the Tianshan Highway) is a section of National Highway 217 (kilometer post K553 to K1089), with a total mileage of 531 kilometers (536 kilometers after the second tunnel was rerouted above ground). The Duku Highway winds like a huge dragon across the Tianshan Mountains, connecting northern and southern Xinjiang and spanning towering mountains and deep valleys. Its completion is a milestone in China’s highway construction history. Seasons: Winter runs from October to May of the following year, and summer from June to September. Xinjiang’s spring and autumn can be described as "fleeting," existing only in the gap between seasons.
From April to May, northern Xinjiang ushers in early spring, and attention is paid to the blooming period of apricot flowers in Yili each year. From September to October, it is early autumn and the harvest season in Xinjiang, where you can indulge in Hami melons, watermelons, grapes, apples, pears, and flat peaches. My favorite season is autumn. Overnight, the entire city is covered in a golden coat, as if immersed in a golden kingdom. Altay City is rich in tourism resources, featuring fascinating natural landscapes such as glaciers, snowy mountains, lakes, hot springs, rock paintings, stone inscriptions, ancient tombs, and sarcophagi. There are lush Shalifuhan Park, fragrant Jinshan Vineyard, the all-season Jinshan Forest Park, picturesque Daxiaodonggou, Wuzhi Spring with a divine palm accompanying the clear stream, and picturesque Tangba Lake.
The summer pasture bathed in floral fragrance, as well as scenic spots such as Camel Peak and General Hill, invite you to enjoy them. The Turpan region is a major grape production base in China, accounting for 52.84% of Xinjiang’s total production, and 75% of the country’s raisin production. There are hundreds of grape varieties in Turpan, with 18 superior varieties such as seedless white grapes, mare’s milk grapes, red grapes, Kashi哈尔 grapes, and suosuo grapes. The sugar content of seedless white grapes can reach 22%-24%. Currently, there are 20 varieties of seedless white grapes and 40 varieties of grapes used for winemaking. Turpan grapes are bright in color, large in size, delicious in taste, and sweet and soothing to the throat. In recent years, more than 240 grape products made from fresh grapes and raisins have been developed.
Raisins dried from seedless white grapes, such as refined green and yellow raisins, chocolate-covered raisins, and yogurt raisins, are sold in large quantities to various parts of the world every year. These sweet and sour raisins, which are beneficial to blood and health, have become one of the precious foods for people worldwide. The wine series produced here include "Loulan" brand dry white (red) wine and "Hongliu" brand snow lotus and three-flower wine. "Loulan" dry white (red) wine is not only exported to Japan every year but is also popular among foreign tourists.
