　　The 18 newly completed carriages in 2020 include 8 Gold Diamond luxury carriages and 10 Blue Diamond carriages. Each Gold Diamond luxury carriage can accommodate 8 passengers in 4 suites with private bathrooms and queen-sized beds; each Blue Diamond carriage can accommodate 28 passengers in 7 compartments sharing public bathrooms and showers.

　　Highlights of the New Oriental Train:

　　1. Compared to regular trains or special trains, the New Oriental train offers significantly improved sealing, stability, and shock absorption.

　　2. The noise level of the air-conditioning system meets standards; the compressor used is a standard train compressor, and the vehicle has undergone rigorous third-party testing and exceeds standards before delivery. The main air duct design has been updated, using a static pressure sealed cavity, with side air vents and electric ventilation regulators. The air compressor has an independent air supply system that can assist in air supply when there is no generator. The air output is gentle, and when the vehicle’s air speed reaches a certain level, it automatically releases air pressure; this feature is unique to special official transport trains and not available on regular trains. This train has increased power and improved air duct material, providing heat dissipation, insulation, and moisture retention.

The train’s design features several highlights: 1) It boasts the largest shower cabins currently available in domestic trains with separate dry and wet areas; the material and design of the partitions are the most advanced. 2) The original 1064mm windows have been replaced with 25T-type 1528mm panoramic windows in the corridors and rooms. 3) Each room has an air volume adjustment switch. 4) The upper berths have damping devices and can be folded up against the wall; this is the most advanced feature currently available in domestic trains. 5) Each bedroom has a 5-pin socket (AC200V/300W, 2 sets) for computer and mobile phone charging with USB ports; the multifunctional table has a set of 5-pin sockets (AC200V/1500W), and the bathroom has a 5-pin socket with splash-proof cover (AC200V/1500W). 6) The toilets have vacuum waste collection systems. 7) The train exclusively uses ceramic toilets throughout. 8) The train has undergone formaldehyde removal procedures and meets national and international standards.
