The ‘Tianshan’ tourist train features the concept of ‘the train moves with people, and people play while the train stops’. The route connects tourist cities in Xinjiang such as Urumqi, Beitun, Yining, Turpan, Kuqa, Aksu, and Kashgar. The Tianshan tourist train is built by the Urumqi Railway Bureau and operated by us throughout the year. The annual operation schedule is: May 9, May 22, June 4, June 17, June 30, July 13, July 26, August 8, August 21, September 3, September 17, and September 29. There will be 12 departures throughout the year.

In 2023, we invested 3 million yuan to tailor-make and brand-new create bar cars, entertainment cars, and dining cars for the ‘Tianshan’ tourist train. The special train is equipped with hard sleeper cars and soft sleeper cars to provide you with a comprehensive service experience throughout your journey.
The Tianshan Tourist Train is a quality and distinctive tourist train operated by our company after the New Oriental Express, Lindu Train, Yichun Train, Chengdu Train, Silk Road Dream Train, Panda Special Train (Shifang), and National High-Quality Train. Its main operation area is within the jurisdiction of the Urumqi Railway Bureau, and it will take VIP tourists from across the country to explore the north and south of the Tianshan Mountains in Xinjiang.
Formation of the Tianshan Tourist Train: It is planned to use a set of 25G air-conditioned train cars, with each set comprising 4 high-class soft sleepers, 6 soft sleepers, 1 bar car, 1 entertainment car, and 1 dining car.

Day 1: Travel from various parts of the country to Urumqi. After arriving, be picked up and check in at the hotel. Meals are on your own, and accommodation is at a designated hotel in Urumqi.
Day 2: After breakfast, proceed to Tianshan Tianchi Scenic Area by car for a tour of about 4 hours. Afterward, proceed to Urumqi Station for a gathering and take the special train to Beitun. Breakfast on that day is provided by the hotel, lunch and dinner are full meals, and accommodation is on the Tianshan Train.
Day 3: After being picked up at Beitun Railway Station, proceed to Kanas Scenic Area, transfer to a shuttle bus to enter Kanas National Geological Park for a tour of about 5 hours. After the tour, proceed to Jiadenyu to check in at the hotel. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are full meals, and accommodation is at a designated hotel in Jiadenyu.
Day 4: After breakfast, proceed to Hemu Scenic Area for a tour of about 3 hours. You need to bring your own food. In the afternoon, take a car back to Beitun, stopping by Wucai Beach (complimentary item, no refund if not visited) for a tour of about 1 hour. In the evening, take the special train to Jinghe County. Breakfast is provided by the hotel, lunch is on your own, dinner is a full meal, and accommodation is on the Tianshan Train.
Day 5: After arriving, proceed to Sayram Lake for a tour of about 1.5 hours, followed by a drive-through view of Guozigou, the First Pass of Yili (no stopping due to traffic reasons), and then proceed to Kazhanqi Folk Tourism Area. After dinner, check in at a hotel in Yining. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are full meals, and accommodation is at a designated hotel in Yining.
Day 6: After breakfast, proceed to the Nalati River Valley Grassland Scenic Area for a tour of about 4 hours. After dinner, check in at a hotel in Nalati Town. Breakfast is provided by the hotel, lunch and dinner are full meals, and accommodation is at a designated hotel in Nalati Town.
Day 7: Enter the Nalati Aerial Grassland for a tour, with a total duration of about 4 hours. After the tour, return to Yining and take the special train to Kuqa. Breakfast is provided by the hotel, lunch is a full meal, dinner is on your own, and accommodation is on the Tianshan Train.
Day 8: After picking up the train in Kuqa, proceed to the Tianshan Mysterious Grand Canyon for a tour of about 1.5 hours. After dinner, take the special train to Kashgar. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are full meals, and accommodation is on the Tianshan Train.
Day 9: After the special train arrives, proceed to the N39 Desert Scenic Area for a tour. If the weather does not permit a visit, it will be replaced by a visit to Yingjisha Earthen Pot Village and the Small Knife Museum. Return to Kashgar in the evening and check in at the hotel for rest. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are full meals, and accommodation is at a designated hotel in Kashgar.
Day 10: After breakfast, proceed to Karakul Lake for a tour of about 40 minutes, enjoying the scenery of布伦口 Lake and White Sand Mountain (also known as White Sand Lake, with a tour of about 40 minutes) along the way. Afterward, return to Kashgar city and check in at the hotel for rest. Breakfast is provided by the hotel, lunch and dinner are full meals, and accommodation is at a designated hotel in Kashgar.
Day 11: After breakfast, proceed to Kashgar Old City for a tour and watch the opening ceremony, followed by a visit to Craftsman Street, the Century-old Tea House, and then the Id Kah Mosque. After lunch, visit the Kashgar Nephrite Exhibition Hall, and then take a special train to Turpan. Breakfast is provided by the hotel, lunch is a full meal, dinner is on your own, and accommodation is on the Tianshan Train.
Day 12: After being picked up at Turpan Station, proceed to Karez Well, then to Flaming Mountain National Geological Park, and return to Urumqi to stay at the hotel after the tour. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all formal meals, accommodation is at a designated hotel in Urumqi.
Day 13: Full-day group dispersal, arrange pickup time with the driver according to the return flight or train schedule, end of the itinerary. Breakfast is provided by the hotel, lunch and dinner are on your own, no accommodation arrangements.
