With the arrival of the peak tourist season in Xinjiang, famous tourist attractions in northern Xinjiang such as Kanas, Nalati, Sayram Lake, and Bayinbuluke have become popular choices for domestic tourism. For the fourth consecutive year, the Xinjiang Railway Department will launch the ‘Grand Beauty of Xinjiang’ tourist train from early July to late August, offering two routes: Route A (Kanas, Nalati, Sayram Lake) and Route B (Kanas, Nalati, Sayram Lake, Bayinbuluke) of the ‘Grand Beauty of Xinjiang’ Northern Xinjiang Circular Route. The tourist train provides 6-night/7-day and 8-night/9-day quality tour packages, allowing tourists from home and abroad to explore Xinjiang by train, greatly facilitating their long-distance and convenient travel needs.
The ‘Grand Beauty of Xinjiang’ tourist train has been operating for three years with continuously high sales and popularity among tourists, providing perfect travel experiences for over 7,200 tourists.

D1 Various places – Urumqi – Beitun
After arriving in Urumqi from various parts of the country and taking a short break, gather at Urumqi Station (High-speed Railway Station). At about 21:00 in the evening, take the "Beautiful Xinjiang" special train to Beitun City, the place of Corps reclamation in the north.
D2 Beitun – Kanas
Arrive at Beitun Railway Station at 7:30 in the morning. Pass through the important town of the Corps – Beitun, and take a car to the Russian-style riverside town of Burqin for breakfast. After breakfast, depart for Kanas scenic area, passing through the barren desert landscape of White Sand Mountain and the picturesque Aganggaiti Grassland. Arrive at the Jiadenyu living area in Kanas scenic area for lunch at noon. After the meal, transfer to the scenic area shuttle bus to enter [Kanas Scenic Area] (entrance ticket included, shuttle bus included for two entries). Follow the Kanas River for sightseeing, enjoying the Siberian larch primitive forest, Birch forest scenery, Shenxian Bay, Wolong Bay, Moon Bay, and Yaze Lake. The terminal of this shuttle bus section is the "Transfer Center", then return to Jiadenyu. After dinner, check into the hotel in Jiadenyu.
D3 Kanas – Hemu
After breakfast, enter the Kanas scenic area again to enjoy the morning glow and fog scenery of Kanas Lake,… After lunch, return to Jiadenyu and take the shuttle bus to the [Hemu Scenic Area], known as "God’s Private Reserve" (entrance ticket and shuttle bus included). The beautiful scenery along the way is endless, with dense Birch forests sometimes hiding winding streams, and sometimes wide and magnificent rapids rushing by. Upon arrival at the Hemu village, check into the wooden cabin hotel, then visit the beauty of the Hemu River, take a leisurely walk in the Birch forest, climb up the Hadeng Platform to overlook the ancient Hemu village, and immerse yourself in the tranquility and leisure. Have dinner at the hotel according to the notified gathering time, and after dinner, free activities under the sparkling stars of the ancient Hemu village.
D4 Hemu – Beitun – Yining
Get up early to enjoy the sunrise, then take the Hemu shuttle bus back to Jiadenyu for lunch. After the meal, take a tourist bus back to Burqin County, passing through the colorful fairy tale world, the world’s first beach – [Wucai Beach] (entrance ticket and excess mileage fee included). Visit the Yadan wind erosion landform, then arrive in Beitun and take the tourist train to Yining.
D5 Beitun – Yining
At about 10:00 in the morning, take the "Beautiful Xinjiang" special train from Beitun to the border flower city of Yining. Enjoy the scenery of the Tianshan Mountains along the way. Arrive in Yining at about 21:26 in the evening and check into the hotel.
D6 Yining – Bayinbrook – Nalati
After breakfast, take a car to Bayinbrook and visit China’s second largest grassland, [Bayinbrook Grassland] (entrance ticket included, shuttle bus included). Visit the Swan Protection Area – Swan Lake, which is a high-mountain wetland lake. The surrounding continuous snowy peaks form a natural barrier for Swan Lake. Enjoy the marvelous scenery of the Kaidu River’s nine curves and eighteen bends. The 516-kilometer-long Kaidu River has as many as 1,142 bends. It can truly be said that "the winding river flows east, with thousands of turns before reaching its end." (Visit time is about 3 hours), then proceed to Nalati to check into the hotel.
D7 Nalati — Yining
After breakfast, take a tour bus to the world’s four major alpine valley grasslands – [National AAAAA-level Scenic Area Nalati] (ticket included). Along the way, you will see mountain flowers blooming, butterflies dancing, and tents dotted around. You may also catch a glimpse of small patches of Populus euphratica forests, feeling their tenacious life force and unyielding demeanor. Pass by the Wusu Ancient Tomb Group; enjoy the beautiful scenery along the Gongnais Valley. Arrive in Nalati Town for lunch, and after lunch, take the scenic area’s [Valley Grassland Shuttle Bus] (fare included) to the Nalati scenic area to experience Kazakh folklore (tour time is about 3.5 hours, including valley shuttle bus entry and exit time). You can take optional scenic area tours, such as sightseeing buses, horse riding, tandem bicycles, and grassland motorcycles, to feel the charm of the grassland. Then, take a bus to Yining and check into a hotel.
D8 Yining — Sayram Lake — Horgos Port — Yining — Urumqi
After breakfast, pass by Guozigou Flying Bridge and Fruit Valley, known as the First Scenic Spot of Yili, and take a bus tour of [Asia’s Largest Cable-Stayed Bridge Across the Mountain] (cannot stop due to traffic reasons). Take an air-conditioned tour bus to the mysterious and beautiful alpine lake, the Pearl Beyond the Great Wall – [Sayram Lake] (ticket included), and then proceed to the West Bank scenic area (complimentary lake circuit bus fee) for a tour or free activities for about 100 minutes. After lunch, visit [Horgos Port], one of China’s three major land trade ports. Learn about the distribution of aromatic plants and products in the world. Yili is the national lavender base, where you can gain a closer understanding of lavender and take photos with the sea of flowers and colorful flower bands (free activities for about 50 minutes). Take a bus back to Yining and then take a train to Urumqi.
D9 Urumqi — Various Destinations
Arrive at Urumqi Station in the morning, ending your pleasant journey back in the beautiful Urumqi!
