Tianshan Tianchi Lake
Tianchi Lake is located halfway up the Bogda Snowy Mountain in the Tianshan Mountains. The lake covers an area of less than 5 square kilometers and has a depth of about 100 meters. Around the mid-mountain waist of Tianchi Lake are spruce forests shaped like pagodas, backed by Mount Bogda, the second-highest peak of the Tianshan Mountains at an altitude of 5,400 meters and covered with snow all year round, thus forming a fascinating scenery of Tianchi Lake.

Winter herding migration in Guozigou
The Guozigou herding path was put into use on November 15, 2013. The herding tradition of the Guozigou herdsmen is a historical custom of the Kazakhs that has been continued for thousands of years. The herdsmen and their flocks of cattle, sheep, horses, and camels have trampled out small paths on the vast grasslands, in the gorges, and beside the valleys. These herding paths vary in size and difficulty, but what they have in common is that they were practiced, selected, and passed down by the ancestors of the herdsmen. The herdsmen, driving their cattle, horses, and sheep, and carrying all their belongings, march in a grand and spectacular manner for several days on the colorful mountain paths.

Gongnais National Forest Park is located in the southern foot of Tianshan Mountain, with National Highway 218 crossing through the scenic area. It is about 290 kilometers away from Yining City and only 60 kilometers away from Nalati scenic area.
Gongnais is Mongolian for green valley. It is located at an altitude of nearly 2,000 meters and covers a total area of over 700 square kilometers. As it is the upstream of the Gongnais River and benefits from the nourishment of Tianshan snow water, the vegetation here is dense, and the snow-capped spruce trees tower above, blocking out the sun. It is a scenic spot suitable for all seasons. The unique rime wonders in Gongnais scenic area in winter also attract more and more photographers and travelers from all over the country, making it famous in Tianshan.
Romantic and charming snowy scenery of Zhaosu
From the beginning of winter each year until early spring of the next year, snow falls intermittently on the grasslands of Zhaosu County, Xinjiang.
