Kanas, encountering the stunning autumn in China
If you have been to Xinjiang, I believe you must feel that Xinjiang is a place kissed and favored by God. The scenery here is enchanting, and every place is a completely different landscape that makes you reluctant to leave. There is no scenery in all of China that can compare with Xinjiang’s. It is charming, mysterious, and makes you unable to let go. Local people and travelers alike say that if heaven is on the left, Xinjiang will be on the right.
In this Xinjiang with unlimited scenery, there is also an exceptionally beautiful scenic spot, Kanas. Describing Kanas in Mongolian means a place with beautiful and fertile scenery that is mysterious and unpredictable. Especially in September during autumn, the ground is covered with yellow leaves, which look like a place made of pure gold from a distance. If you choose to take a set of wedding photos here at this stage, it will be breathtakingly beautiful. When you wake up in the morning and pull open the curtains, Kanas presented before your eyes, after being baptized by dew overnight, looks even more spiritual. It seems like this is not enough, and it is still striving to unleash its beauty in front of us. This is Kanas, which is known as the fairyland on earth.
The lake previously famous for water monsters is Kanas Lake. Kanas is a place you must visit at least once in your lifetime. It is a place you will never forget or regret visiting. The autumn scenery of Kanas is like a magnificent and beautiful painting, resplendent with gold and brilliance. Whenever the sun rises or sets, go to the lakeside of Kanas. If you’re lucky, you might even see the rare Kanas water monster. The beauty here is beyond your imagination. No words or nouns can adequately describe it. Only by coming here and truly appreciating it with your heart can you deeply perceive it. Saying that Kanas is a paradise on earth is not an exaggeration.
Let’s talk about Kanas’ famous three bays. First is Wolong Bay, locally known as Kazan Lake, meaning ‘pot-bottom lake’, due to its lake surface resembling the shape of a pot bottom. The Kanas River also flows through here, as evidenced by the eroded and winding river bay. From above, it looks like a winding dragon lying there. The lake surface is relatively calm, and the water flow is not very fast. The lake water is clear and green, exceptionally transparent. The beautiful scenery will make you forget the time to go home.
Because the Kanas riverbed converges into several bends here, forming a crescent-shaped river bay, the locals named it Moon Bay. It is located approximately one kilometer upstream from Wolong Bay. The scenic Moon Bay, with its picturesque lake surface, changes with the changes of Kanas Lake, like a night-shining pearl embedded in it. The color changes are also particularly rich and eye-catching.
At the foot of Kanas Lake is Shenxian Bay, formed by the converging water flow of Kanas Lake. Whenever the water of Kanas flows through here, its speed slows down significantly. The forest, constantly impacted by the river’s flow over the years, has gradually been divided into small islands. Every year, it is surrounded by layers of fog, giving it a mystical and fairy-like appearance, hence its name Shenxian Bay. It is said that retired immortals from Jinghu reside on these small islands.
The breathtaking scenery will temporarily numb you, making you forget all your sadness and sorrow. It can also effectively open your heart and let you relax. Slowly, you will start to enjoy traveling. Traveling is indeed a particularly joyful and wonderful thing. It is also an excellent way to regulate your body and mind.
