On June 27th, the "People’s Red Train – Time Train" will officially depart, operating in a loop until October with a total of 9 trains departing around June 27th, July 9th, July 21st, August 2nd, August 14th, August 26th, September 5th, September 16th, and September 27th (specific times are subject to railway dispatch orders). The "People’s Red Train – Time Train" will, for the first time, connect southern and northern Xinjiang, covering a route of 6,000 kilometers and allowing tourists to view 29 scenic spots in Xinjiang. It offers 12-day, 10-day, 6-day, and 7-day round-trip routes, among which the 12-day route will pass through scenic spots such as Tianchi, Kanas, Nalati, Sayram Lake, Turpan, Desert Poplar Forest, Kuqa Grand Canyon, Kashgar, Karakul Lake, and Tashkurgan County; the 10-day route will pass through Tianchi, Turpan, Kanas, Hemu, Koktokay, Luntai Poplar Forest, Kuqa Mysterious Grand Canyon, Old Kashgar City, and Karakul Lake. In 12 days, tourists will traverse the "three mountains sandwiching two basins", spanning more than 6,000 kilometers, connecting southern and northern Xinjiang for the first time, and enjoying a panoramic tour of Xinjiang.
"The theme of our carriages is ‘The Glorious Years and People’s Red’. Riding the Time Train gives tourists a sense of historical traversal, with time intertwining and history being remembered," said Zhou Jin, general manager of Urumqi Jinbohuan International Travel Agency, the event organizer. "Each train has 7 carriages, with each carriage representing a 10-year period spanning 70 years, decorated with significant old photos or reprinted versions of People’s Daily, among other items. Passengers can scan QR codes to view related thematic content, creating a media fusion feast." This Time Train records 70 years of arduous journeys and relentless pursuit, spanning from ancient times to the present, documenting human history and the imprints of era development. These photos, printed with social development and the gradual improvement of people’s living standards, evoke fond memories in travelers.
On June 27th, the "People’s Red Train – Time Train" will officially depart from Urumqi, taking tourists from all over the country to experience the "Flowing Time and Advancing Xinjiang" together.
