Kanas Tourism Consultation in Xinjiang: (same as above)
Winter Kanas and Hemu are worlds of snow, with themes including lakeside flowing water, snowy landscapes, primitive forests, and the folk customs of the Tuwa people. With ever-changing scenes, special emphasis is placed on and enhancement given to snowscape photography to meet the needs of ice and snow themes.
This is the route I have taken multiple times to enter the Kanas area in winter for photography, at least twice a year, which I share with friends who love winter snow themes.
Paradise is far away, but Kanas is near!
Winter in Xinjiang features fresh air and exceptional tranquility, with only continuous snow-covered mountains and the peaceful, mysterious Kanas Lake! See the intertwined ice and snow in the water, a fairy tale of ice and snow! Here, you can take photos quietly!
At different times of the day and under different lighting, you can witness a different world!
Winter Kanas is a veritable snow kingdom, pure and flawless!
The lake water is flowing quietly, with snow-covered stones nearby and snowy mountains in the distance, outlining a winter ice and snow world!
The scenes here are an excellent location for you to practice using filters. You can master the use of auxiliary filters in just one try.
Here, you have endless subjects to photograph in the icy-snow world, such as mountains, lakes, and forests. You can imagine yourself as a wilderness ‘hunter’, exploring every inch of land suitable for photography in the snowy lands.
A ray of sunshine lights up the world.
Winter is not only the loneliness of nature but also a kind of loneliness for oneself.
The primitive forests are covered with snow, wearing silver coats. As the light slowly moves, we feel like we have entered a warm snowy ocean.
In Kanas, the uniqueness of winter allows us to see the combination of warmth and cold. The forest, under the sunshine, gradually spreads out in a soft glow.
There are elements that combine points, lines, and planes here. Everything depends on you.
While possessing vast spaces, Xinjiang also boasts detailed beauty in some areas. This is Xinjiang. In the winter of Xinjiang, when the branches are illuminated by sunlight, there is even a hint of autumn charm spreading.
If you’re lucky enough, it’s easy to encounter foxes in the snow, which not only tests our luck but also our ability to seize the moment! Generally speaking, this is an additional gift for our photography.
Primitive village, your silence!
Covered in snow, Hemu Village presents a serene scenery. During sunrise, enjoy the Tuwa village under the morning sun. Here, you don’t want to leave because the scenery is primitive, and everything is so quiet, like a fairy tale.
Standing in the village, looking at the red hue on the snow-capped mountains, forms the primitive landscape of the entire village.
As night falls, the wooden cabins, illuminated by faint yellow lights, bring a hint of warmth in the cold winter.
I will also invite local residents with unique characteristics to wear traditional costumes and let everyone create to their heart’s content.
Night sky dome
Even though there are lights in the village, you can still see stars all over the sky when you look up. Here, there is no light pollution. Instead, the light here better highlights the harmony between man and nature.
Hemu Village under the starry sky has less tenderness but more mystery. Enduring the cold invasion, everything is for better photography. When a meteor streaks across the night sky, I have a wish.
Snow is everywhere!
The snow in Kanas comes from the cold winds of Siberia, passing through the forests beside the Yenisey River and crossing the grasslands by the Balkhash Lake, easily crossing the border defined by humans. With just one step, it arrives in Kanas, laying a thick layer of pure white, fairy-tale-like snow on the forests of Kanas.
The road is far and unique!
Rime ice has frozen everything in Kanas with ice and snow, but in the primitive forest, you can see the bride’s cloak frozen into strips of crystal-clear rime ice, like a dream. The advantage of off-road travel for photography is not only to go deep but also to explore. Look at how the Xinjiang drivers freely travel through the snowy land—who else can do it?
At night, you can only take photos quietly!
Under the night sky, the loneliness has lingered for a long time, waiting for you, who are lonely, to quietly take photos. Far away from the hustle and bustle, only silence remains here. The only companions you have are snow-capped mountains, primitive forests, and snow mushrooms. Taking photos in low temperatures requires sufficient cold resistance and patience.
