The New Oriental Express is one of the most luxurious tourist trains in Xinjiang and is deeply loved by tourists from all over the country. In 2020, in response to market demand, China Railway Urumqi Group Co., Ltd. redesigned and upgraded the ‘New Oriental Express’. The new ‘New Oriental Express’ train body includes Gold Diamond carriages, Blue Diamond carriages, Silver Diamond carriages, as well as multifunctional carriages such as bar carriages and dining carriages, aiming to comprehensively showcase the magnificent scenery of Xinjiang and become a mobile platform for promoting Xinjiang’s tourism culture. I. Facilities on the New Oriental Express Carriages
1. Gold Diamond Carriage:
A total of 8 carriages, each with 4 luxury suites accommodating up to 2 people. Each suite is equipped with an independent bathroom, shower facilities, a desk, wardrobe, safe, etc.

2. Blue Diamond Carriage:
A total of 4 carriages, each with 7 booths, accommodating 2 to 4 people per booth. The carriages are equipped with shared bathrooms, showers, and refrigerators.

3. Silver Diamond Carriage:
Each presidential carriage is equipped with 2 presidential singles (with showers and oversized bathrooms), 2 executive standard rooms, 2 luxury 4-person booths, one public bathroom, one attendant room, and a living room, suitable for corporate travel, allowing for both sightseeing and business meetings.
Each Silver Diamond carriage carries 16 passengers, including one king-size suite with an independent bathroom (booth 7). The king-size bed in the booth measures 1.5M*2M and can accommodate up to 2 people. It includes an independent bathroom with dry and wet separation, as well as a desk, chairs, and wardrobe.

III. Introduction to the Features of the New Oriental Express:
1. Private luxury compartments: Dedicated carriages for exclusive use. The train is like a cruise ship on land, waiting locally while guests tour each destination.
2. At the Urumqi departure and terminal stations, dedicated luggage handlers will assist you with your large luggage. When disembarking at each station, you only need to carry lightweight luggage containing your changed clothes and daily medications. All you need to do throughout the journey is relax and enjoy an unforgettable trip.
3. The New Oriental Express sets an appropriate temperature during winter/spring. The air conditioning will be turned on before you board. When you return to the New Oriental Express after your tour, you will feel as comfortable as returning home.
4. VIPs will enjoy five wonderful nights on the New Oriental Express, and the remaining six nights will be spent at locally selected luxury or boutique hotels.
5. The train is equipped with a bar carriage, making the journey a true pleasure: Between cities, you and your family and friends can enjoy a cup of our delicately prepared coffee or other beverages in the bar carriage. 6. The New Oriental Express dining carriages consist of two sections, providing a relaxed and comfortable dining environment. The dining carriage is configured with a table for four people to share. Each meal consists of six dishes and one soup, and a bottle of beer is provided per table. Each dining carriage has 12 tables, capable of accommodating up to 48 people dining simultaneously. Professional chefs are specially hired to provide delicious meals for tourists on the train.
7. Dedicated Butler: The New Oriental Express is staffed with multiple service personnel, and each sleeper carriage is assigned a butler to assist VIPs with various matters on the train.
8. Showers: Hot water is available 24 hours a day in the showers in the sleeper carriages. You can enjoy a comfortable shower anytime on the train (please note that the water tank capacity in the Silver Diamond public bathrooms is limited and cannot be used as freely as at home).
9. Amenities: Each carriage on the train is equipped with a public small refrigerator. Additionally, all rooms are fitted with soundproof materials, lighting adjustments, and a butler service bell. The dedicated butler will provide you with mineral water and hot tea in your room when boarding at each station.
10. Laundry Service: Laundry service is also available on the train (additional fees apply, only machine washing is provided) to address clothing changes and washing needs during the journey.
