  Bosten Lake Bosten in Uyghur means “oasis”. It is located in the southeast of the Yanqi Basin in the Borhu County of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in China and is the largest inland freshwater lake with inflow and outflow in China. The “coastal areas” mentioned in “The King of Yanqi Reached Yuanchu City, and 100 Li South to Yuli, Where There Were Many Fish Near the Sea” in the Book of Han’s Western Regions, as well as the “Dunhong Pu” in Commentary on Waterways, all refer to this lake.

  Flaming Mountain Scenic Area, a national AAAA-level scenic area, is located 23 kilometers east of Turpan, Xinjiang. The scenic area is famous for its mythical legends and unique natural landscapes. The Flaming Mountain stretches from east to west across the middle of the Turpan Basin, being one of the branches of the Tianshan Mountains. Over billions of years, countless fold belts left by crustal lateral movements and the weathering of nature have formed the undulating mountain ranges and crisscross gullies of the Flaming Mountain. Under the blazing sun, the red sandstone shines, and hot air rolls upwards, with clouds swirling around, resembling blazing flames roaring. This is the origin of the name ‘Flaming Mountain’.

  Zepu Gold Lake Populus National Forest Park is located 36 kilometers southwest of Zepu County, within the Yasidun Forest Farm territory. It sits on the upper edge of the Yarkant River alluvial fan. The scenic area covers an area of 40,000 mu (a unit of area, approximately 666.67 square meters), with a natural poplar forest area of up to 20,000 mu.   The Colorful Beach is located in the northern part of Xinjiang, belonging to the Altay Prefecture, within the territory of Burqin County.
