The New Oriental Express Xinjiang tourist train is China’s luxurious tourist train.
Carriage configuration: The 2023 New Oriental Express includes 8 Golden Diamond carriages and 10 Blue Diamond carriages. Each Golden Diamond carriage carries 8 passengers and consists of 4 suites with independent bathrooms and large beds. Each Blue Diamond carriage carries 28 passengers and consists of 7 compartments sharing public toilets and showers. Additionally, there are dining carriages, bar carriages, and other functional carriages.
Internal facilities: The entire train is equipped with carpets, WIFI devices, etc. The Golden Diamond carriages have large beds, desks, wardrobes, table lamps, independent showers, and toilets with dry and wet separation. The Blue Diamond carriages have 4-person compartments with double bunk beds, and each end of the carriage has a Chinese-style and a Western-style toilet as well as a public shower room.
