Xinjiang Travel Route
Day 1: Urumqi → Burqin Itinerary: Urumqi – S21 – Burqin (about 600KM, driving for about 8 hours) On the first day, depart from Urumqi and drive along the S21 highway, crossing the Junggar Basin, heading towards Burqin. Along the way, you will see vast Gobi deserts and endless wilderness, feeling the ruggedness and primitive beauty of nature. Arrive in Burqin in the evening, where you can enjoy the breathtaking scenery under the setting sun, like a palette overturned by God. Accommodation: Burqin ♠ Day 2: Burqin → Hemu Itinerary: Burqin – Hemu (about 140KM, driving for about 4 hours) On the second day, head to "God’s Private Reserve" – Hemu. Hemu Village is an original village, praised as a picturesque place. The houses here are built with logs, surrounded by dense forests and grasslands, offering a very charming scenery. Accommodation: Hemu ♠ Day 3: Hemu → Kanas/Jiadengyu Itinerary: Hemu – Kanas – Kanas/Jiadengyu (about 50KM, driving for about 1 hour) On the third day, proceed to Kanas, known as "Half Fairyland, Half on Earth".
