In autumn, the Tarim River basin becomes a golden sea.

Hotan
Hotan – anciently known as “Yutian”, is a famous hometown of song and dance. The famous Yulongkashi River here is renowned for producing white jade. Every autumn, after the Hotan River waters subside, jade collectors from all over come here to try their luck; of course, everyone can also explore the riverbed and take a chance, perhaps the “jade” you pick up isn’t that pretty, but its significance is extraordinary.
