Kanas is a Mongolian word meaning ‘beautiful and rich, mysterious and unpredictable’. The Kanas Natural Landscape Reserve is located in the northwest of Burqin, in the golden zone bordering Kazakhstan, Russia, and Mongolia. Its natural ecological landscape and cultural landscape have always maintained their primitive appearance and are known as the ‘pure land on earth’. The Kanas tourist area borders on the 48°13′ north latitude in the south, with Hemu Township to the east and the national border to the northwest. It has a planned area of 10,030 square kilometers, including the Kanas National Nature Reserve, Kanas National Geological Park, Baihaba National Forest Park, Jiadenyu National Forest Park, Burqin Valley, Hemu Valley, Hemu Grassland, and three primitive Tuwa villages: Hemu Village, Baihaba Village, and Kanas Village. These constitute seven famous natural landscape areas and three cultural landscape areas at home and abroad. Among them, Kanas Lake is known as ‘the most beautiful lake in the world’.
Day 1: Urumqi/Beitun (approximately 10 hours by train)
Take the evening train to Beitun City from the new train station. The reference assembly time in the afternoon is 18:30 (Reference train numbers: K9749, Y953, K9791. The specific train schedule and time will be notified by the departure staff by phone on the morning of the departure day. Guests should proceed to the Urumqi New Passenger Station for assembly by themselves.)

Day 2: Beitun/Burqin/Kanas
In the morning, take a vehicle to Burqin. Visit the [Colorful Beach] (120 yuan/person, at one’s own expense) under the shining morning sun. The specialty of Colorful Beach lies in its colorful hues and diverse shapes. Due to the coal seams from the Jurassic era here, after millions of years of wind and rain erosion, as well as river erosion, vivid colors such as red, green, purple, yellow, and brown emerged on the nearly barren riverbank. Against the backdrop of the river and illuminated by the morning sun, it resembles a colorful and dreamlike world. Afterwards, take a vehicle to the [Agenggaiti Grassland Stone Man Scenic Area] (198 yuan/person, at one’s own expense). (Note: This attraction is along the route, and the ticket is not included. To ensure an orderly and smooth itinerary, the travel agency and tour guide have the right to omit it.) Agenggaiti means ‘where the sun rises’ in Kazakh, a ‘fertile grassland’ that is warm in winter and cool in summer, and a ‘horse paradise’ where majestic snow-capped mountains can be seen 365 days a year. Here, blue skies, white clouds, glacial snow peaks, forests and grasslands, valleys, and rivers are integrated. It boasts magnificent grassland scenery, rich ethnic customs, and a long historical culture, forming a unique frontier scenery. Here, you can not only taste exotic cuisine, enjoy colorful songs and dances, but also, if you’re lucky, witness folk activities such as horse racing, eagle training, sheep catching, and girls’ chase. In the evening, arrive at Jiadenyu to arrange dinner and check into the hotel.

Day 3: Kanas/Hemu
In the morning, take a car to the [AAAAA-rated Kanas Scenic Area] known as the "Eastern Switzerland" (entrance ticket and shuttle bus included), transfer to the scenic area shuttle bus to enter, and take a scenic tour along the Kanas River, enjoying the primitive Siberian larch forest, Birch Forest scenery, Shenxianwan, Wolongwan, Moon Bay, and Yaze Lake. You can take a boat tour around the lake to visit the [Double Lake Cruise] of Kanas Lake (120 yuan/person, at own expense) to appreciate the morning light and foggy scenery of Kanas Lake. Stroll along the wooden boardwalk by the lake, or leisurely visit the [Tuwa Village Home Visit] in the scenic area (100 yuan/person, at own expense) to listen to music.
The living fossil, the Tuwa people’s Sur; you can also walk up to the [Fish Viewing Platform] (120 yuan/person, at own expense) to view the magical and mysterious panoramic view of Kanas Lake, visit the original Tuwa tribe left behind by Genghis Khan during his western conquest, or early-rising photographers can climb up to the Fish Viewing Platform. The lucky ones may capture glimpses of mysterious lake monsters, feeling the leisure and tranquility of the Kanas scenic area… Afterwards, check into the hotel.

Day 4: Hemu/Beitun/Urumqi
After breakfast, visit the [Hemu Scenic Area] known as "God’s Private Reserve" (entrance ticket and shuttle bus included). The scenery along the way is breathtaking, including the Birch Forest, vast grasslands, beautiful river bends, and the friendly Kazakh and Tuwa herdsmen. After lunch, descend the mountain and head to Beitun to catch the train back to Urumqi.

Day 5: Arrival in Urumqi
Upon arrival in Urumqi, according to train schedules (Y954 K9792 K9786), reference time is 07:18 or 09:30 in the morning. End your pleasant Kanas tour and return. If you plan to visit other destinations such as Tianchi or Turpan, please note in advance.
