What is Southern Xinjiang?

Tarim Hu Yanglin National Forest Park integrates the natural landscapes of the Tarim River, the Hu Yanglin (poplar forest) scenery, and desert scenery. Hu Yanglin are ancient tree species remaining from the 3rd century AD, a plant transformed due to desertification. They are as precious as ginkgo and possess extremely strong vitality, earning them the name ‘living fossil’.
