Welcome to the beautiful Xinjiang! After airport pickup, you will be dropped off at the hotel to rest, and then you are free to explore. If time permits, you can visit the recommended attractions on your own (separate vehicle not included).
Recommendation 1: [Urumqi International Grand Bazaar Night Market] (free): Taste Xinjiang’s special cuisine. This is also where the enthusiastic "Guli" and hospitable "Balang" of Xinjiang hang out, allowing you to deeply experience the rich ethnic characteristics of Xinjiang.
Recommendation 2: [Hongshan Tower Park] (free): This is a landmark attraction in Urumqi’s urban area. Standing at the top of the mountain, you can overlook the landmark high-rise building of Urumqi, the CITIC Tower. It is also the best location for nightscape photography.
Day 2: Urumqi — Tianchi — Jimusar (about 260KM, 4 hours)

From 07:30 to 09:00, the driver will pick you up at the hotel according to the agreed time.
From 09:00 to 11:00, after everyone has arrived, depart from Urumqi and head towards [Tianshan Tianchi] along the Tuwu-Urumqi Expressway.
From 11:00 to 17:30, after arriving at the scenic area and purchasing tickets, take the shuttle bus to enter the scenic area for a tour. The scenery gradually improves along the way, with the Sangong River flowing alongside the road and passing through ancient elm trees. As the altitude increases, pine trees stand by the roadside. Upon arriving at Tianchi Lake, you will see pine waves on both sides of the mountain, a deep blue lake surface, and in the distance, the towering Bogda Snow Mountain reaching into the clouds. Enjoy the beautiful natural scenery of Tianchi in silence. You can take a cruise boat (not included in the fee, reference price: 80 yuan/person) to tour Tianchi, enjoy a distant view of Mount Bogda, and visit Feilongtan Falls, or take the Mayashan ropeway (not included in the fee, reference price: 220 yuan/person) to overlook the panoramic view of Tianchi. It is recommended to have lunch within the scenic area.
From 17:30 to 20:00, depart for Jimusar County via the expressway, with a driving time of about 2.5 hours
At 20:00, arrive in Jimusar in the evening and check in.

Tips:
1. Tianchi is located at an altitude of about 2000 meters, and generally there is no altitude sickness. However, the UV rays at the top of the mountain are relatively strong. Please bring sunscreen, a sun umbrella, and sunglasses before departure.
2. It is recommended that you prepare a pair of comfortable walking shoes before departure.
3. Due to weather conditions, the Mayashan ropeway may be temporarily closed. Please understand.
4. Today’s tour will be relatively long, and the UV rays at Tianshan Tianchi are strong. It is recommended to bring your own snacks and water.
Day 3: Jimusar – Jiangbulake – Kumtag Desert – Shanshan (about 320KM, 5 hours)

Reference itinerary time:
From 08:00 to 09:30 in the morning, we will depart from Jimusar and head to Qitai County to visit [Jiangbulake].
From 09:30 to 13:00, we will arrive at Jiangbulake, which is famous for its ten thousand acres of wheat fields, strange slope experiences, and forest-grassland scenery. In spring, the wheat sprouts and turns the entire mountain green, while in summer, the wheat waves are spectacular. There is also a strange slope of hundreds of meters in length within the scenic area, where you can experience the uniqueness of accelerating on a downhill slope and braking on an uphill slope. Deep within the scenic area is a beautiful forest-grassland scenery, where you can walk around and get close to nature. (From late August, the wheat fields in Jiangbulake will be harvested, and the grasslands will be yellow and barren, so visits will no longer be arranged.)
From 13:00 to 14:00, we will have lunch outside the scenic area for one hour.
From 14:00 to 18:00, we will leave Jiangbulake in the afternoon and head to Shanshan County. There is a highway that runs through the Tianshan Mountains – the Muxian-Shanshan Highway (about 200 kilometers in length). It connects the north and south of the Tianshan Mountains and links the two major tourist areas of Tian Chi and Turpan, shortening the driving distance by hundreds of kilometers.
At 18:00, after crossing the Muxian-Shanshan Highway, we will arrive in Shanshan County and visit the [Kumtag Desert]. We will take a shuttle bus to the foot of the desert. We can rent a camel and walk around the desert according to our wishes. At the same time, we can climb up the sand dunes, take off our shoes, and walk on the sand barefoot. Prepare a sandboard and slide down from the top. The excitement brought by the desert is beyond your imagination. Or, a group of friends can rent a desert off-road vehicle and experience a desert surfing adventure! It will be fantastic! No matter what way you choose to play, as long as you have fun, it’s good. In the evening, when the sun sets, it is the best time to take photos of the desert sunset. Take out your phone to shoot a short video or take some beautiful pictures to instantly impress your friends on social media.

08:30-10:30 You must have been very tired playing in the desert yesterday. Let’s get up a little later today and head to Tuyugou after breakfast. We will pass through the famous Flaming Mountains along the way. There is a hidden gem here called "Tuyugou" that is unknown to the world.
10:30-12:00 Arrive at Tuyugou. The towering Flaming Mountains break into a deep canyon here. The earth architecture cluster in the ancient village of Tuyugou has a history of over a thousand years, and people still live there, as if time has stood still.
12:00-14:00 Head to Turpan for about 1 hour and have lunch there for about 1 hour.
14:00-17:00 Arrive at the Golden Flaming Mountains, where all your imaginings of Turpan will be fulfilled.
