Ili’s Guozi Valley
Guozi Valley is known as the "First Scenery of Ili". It is located 40 kilometers northeast of Huocheng County and is a necessary passage on the Urumqi-Ili highway of National Highway 312. Its northern end leads out of the valley to Sayram Lake. Inside the valley, peaks rise steeply, pine and birch trees are abundant, fruit trees are clustered, flowers bloom competitively, springs and waterfalls flow, the climate is cool, and the scenery is beautiful.
Nalati Grassland
The Nalati Grassland, located in Xinyuan County of the Ili Prefecture, is one of the four major grasslands in the world, a subalpine meadow plant area. Intersecting rivers, flat valleys, towering peaks, and dense forests complement each other. From June to September each year, various wildflowers bloom on the hills and grasslands, with red, yellow, blue, and purple flowers adding a splendid and colorful touch to the grassland. The beautiful grassland scenery combined with local Kazak folk customs has made it a famous tourist and resort area in Xinjiang.
Koktokay Scenic Area
Koktokay Scenic Area and Koktokay National Geological Park are located in the Fuyun County of the Altay Prefecture in northern Xinjiang. Sayram Lake
