Day 1
Urumqi – Wuhan, Nanchang, or Changsha

According to the flight schedule, take a plane to Wuhan, Nanchang, or Changsha, then take a second-class seat on a bullet train to Jiujiang and check into the hotel.
Note: If it is an evening shift, this itinerary will be postponed by one day, and the next day, take a second-class seat on a bullet train to Jiujiang.
Day 2
Jiujiang – Mount Sanqingshan

Gather around 7:30 am and take a bus (about 3 hours) to Wuyuan, a beautiful village in China. Visit [Wangkou Panorama: Hui-style Houses (30 minutes)]. The Wangkou observation deck is located at a high position in the village, offering a panoramic view of Wangkou Village. You can see the Pingdu Weir, the two rivers converging, the groups of Hui-style houses, the well-arranged Matou Bridge, and the green mountains and blue waters embracing the village, like an ink painting! It is also a paradise and ideal destination for photographers! In the afternoon, visit the ancient village on the cliff, [Huangling (180 minutes visit)]. Huangling’s autumn harvest drying and Flower Town attract millions of tourists every year, as well as many film and television dramas. "Flowers" are the embellishments, symbolizing a cozy and elegant lifestyle. "Town" is the main body, carrying the 580-year history of Huangling, an ancient cultural village. The combination of the two is a portrayal of rural life, the integration of ecology and humanity, and the continuation of nostalgia for the old hometown in dreams. Experience the bustling market customs of ancient Huizhou. Bench dragons, Hui Opera, Nuo dances, raised platforms, torch dances, and martial arts competitions can be seen everywhere; there are Imperial Scholar Halls, Temples of the God of Wealth, Temples of the Matchmaker, Horror Houses, Intangible Cultural Heritage Museums, and Wu Women’s Water Control Projects; Huizhou cuisine, local snacks, taverns, tea houses, and silk fabrics are dazzling; vendors dressed in ancient costumes, artisans with craftsmanship, and night watchmen have different expressions, which can be described as a living ancient Huizhou town. This performance was passionately created by Mei Shuaiyuan, the founder of China’s live-action landscape performances, with a total investment of 280 million yuan. It features an open-air theater built against the mountain and performs "Dream Homeland" beside the water, using advanced sound, light, and electricity technologies, and through the changing seasons of spring, summer, autumn, and winter, as well as the passage of time and space, it extols the prosperous scholarly atmosphere of Wuyuan people who value education, and uses the wine of homesickness to portray the arduous journey of Huizhou merchants in creating wealth, the unswerving love song, the prosperity and harmony brought by imperial examinations, and the indifferent and reclusive realm of life. Wuyuan – Jiujiang

Get up early to visit Wuyuan’s signature attraction, a picturesque village with small bridges, flowing streams, and households – [Likeng/90 minutes]. Two streams converge in the village and then flow through it, with dozens of bridges of various styles spanning the water, connecting the scattered courtyards and ancient houses on both banks. People have lived by the water for generations, creating today’s beautiful picture of "small bridges, flowing streams, and households". Visit [The National Rural AAAAA Scenic Area for 60 minutes] (ticket 60 yuan/person at one’s own expense), a new "green pearl" of Wuyuan. The ecological environment here is beautiful, the canyon scenery is picturesque, and a thousand-year-old Chinese yew tree stands tall at the entrance of the village, presenting a beautiful picture of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. Here, there are households surrounded by clear water and small bridges, the culturally rich Exploration Study, the quaint and elegant Peeping Moon Teahouse, and the Longquan Valley, a natural oxygen bar, all forming a condensed view of Wuyuan’s scenery. Take a car (about 1-hour ride) to Jingdezhen, the千年 porcelain capital, to visit the national 3A scenic area, one of Jiangxi’s top ten famous porcelains, and [Red Official Kiln – Hongxinge for 60 minutes]. Hongxinge is a production base for recreating Mao porcelain and a designated production unit for state porcelain. Visit the porcelain-making exhibition to understand the entire process of ceramic production and appreciate the origin of the porcelain capital. Return to Jiujiang by car and check into the hotel!

Mount Lu – Jiujiang

Assemble at Jiujiang Railway Station, depart at approximately 7:30 (about 1-hour ride) to visit Mount Lu, a World Cultural Heritage site. Sights to visit include: [Flower Path Park], [Bai Juyi’s Cottage], the [Ruqin Lake] with its blue rippling waves and violin-like shape (60 minutes); [Jinxiu Valley]: The valley boasts numerous towering peaks and deep ravines. The cliffs are naturally formed, the stone forests stand tall and proud, and the cliffs and peaks resemble roaring lions, leaping tigers, climbing monkeys, and seated immortals, all vividly lifelike. The scenery along the way is like a beautifully embroidered scroll, enchanting the viewer. The mysterious [Tianqiao Bridge], the [Lucky Stone], and the breathtaking scenery at [Xianfeng Peak]; the secret negotiation site of Chiang Kai-shek and the American special envoy Marshall – [The Old Site of the Negotiation Table]; the [Guanmiao Pavilion] with a panoramic view; Stone Pine and the naturally formed [Fairy Cave]; the well-preserved and historic [Yubei Pavilion] on Mount Lu (90 minutes); the legendary villa on Mount Lu – [Meilu Villa] (visit about 30 minutes), the palace-style building of [Mao Zedong’s Former Residence on Mount Lu] (Lulin No.1 Villa), Mao Zedong’s Poetry Monument Garden, and the [Lulin Lake]: Surrounded by mountains on all sides, with towering pine and cypress trees, the scenery around Lulin Lake is beautiful. The lake water is clean and clear, like a mirror, reflecting the mountain scenery, creating a delightful contrast. The magnificent [Lulin Bridge] (visit about 40 minutes). Visit [Hanpokou], where the beautiful scenery varies with the seasons – "like a dream in spring, dripping in summer, intoxicating in autumn, and jade-like in winter": To the north is Wulaofeng, known as the Leader’s Peak; to the east is China’s largest freshwater lake, Poyang Lake; to the south is Dahanyangfeng, the highest peak of Mount Lu; and to the west is China’s first subtropical botanical garden on Mount Lu. Visit [Dakou Rainbow Waterfall] (ticket + round-trip ropeway 87 yuan/person at one’s own expense) (120 minutes). After the visit, take a car (about 1-hour ride) back to Jiujiang and then take a second-class train to Nanchang, Wuhan, or Changsha.

Nanchang-Urumqi
