Day 1: Karakul Lake
We’ll head to Karakul Lake by car, enjoying the scenery such as the Aoyitake Red Mountain, known as the Flaming Mountain of Southern Xinjiang, along the way. Then arrive at Karakul Lake, visit the lake, and stay in Taxkorgan County at night.

After picking up the guests early in the morning, we’ll head to Karakul Lake, also known as the Black Lake, by car. On the way, we can visit the Uyghur farmland countryside and feel the leisurely and contented atmosphere of the region south of the Great Wall in the depths of the desert. You can overlook the Aoyitake Red Mountain, known as the Flaming Mountain of Southern Xinjiang. Take photos in front of the布伦口 White Sand Mountain, known as the Flowing Sand River, and its amazing scenery. Along the way, you can also see the ancient post stations of the Silk Road.

Enjoy the Father of Glaciers, the 7,546-meter-high Mushtag Peak, Kongur Peak, and the ever-changing color of the plateau lake [Karakul Lake]. Karakul Lake is one of the few plateau lakes in the world. The lake is surrounded by ice peaks and snowy mountains, especially Kongur, Kongur Tobe Peak, and Mushtag Peak, which add a magical and beautiful color to the lake. On calm days, the white snow peaks, green grasslands, and livestock by the lake are reflected in the lake, which is exceptionally beautiful. Every summer and autumn, this is a place for travelers to visit. For thousands of years, Karakul Lake has quietly lain under the snowy peaks, like a charming young girl leaning on the hero’s embrace. The lake water is deep and unpredictable, presenting a primitive scenery.

Visit the Golden Grass Beach
After breakfast, we’ll head to the Golden Grass Beach by car. Visit the Golden Grass Beach and arrange a reasonable time for lunch. After the visit, return to Kashgar City. Stay in Kashgar City.

Day 2: 09:30
After breakfast, we’ll head to the Golden Grass Beach by car. When the car parks by the side of the Golden Grass Beach, the golden trees and grasslands are very attractive. The full name of Golden Grass Beach is Aral Golden Grass Beach, a wetland park scenic area built in the last two years, covering an area of 285,000 square meters. Before arriving here from Kashgar, all we saw were snowy mountains, deserts, and gray rivers. Coming here and seeing this vast and beautiful wetland of golden sand beach is extremely surprising. At sunrise, the Golden Grass Beach in Taxkorgan County is glittering with gold. There are wooden plank roads in the middle for walking. Under the sunshine, the plank roads are shining with gold. Looking closely, I found that it was many sand grains that were sparkling. Could it be gold? Walking on this winding plank road that leads to the horizon, the autumn golden grasslands are on both sides. Looking to the left, there are the glowing snowy mountains. Walking ahead on the left, the wetland has obvious rivers and cobblestones, and many small tributaries branch out. Standing on the grassland plank road, all you can see in your eyes are blue sky, white clouds, snowy peaks, grasslands, rivers, as well as small bridges and waterwheels… In a trance, it’s like a fairyland. Overnight stay in Kashgar.

Day 3:

After breakfast, take a car to [Dawakun Scenic Area]. Dawakun is located in the ancient city of Kashgar.
Yuepuhu County to the east is an approved county open to foreign visitors. The Dawakun Lake Desert Scenic Area in the southeast of the county integrates natural lakes, desert landscapes, cultural relics, and Uyghur folk tourism resources, covering an area of 30,000 mu. This desert scenic area centers on Dawakun Lake and radiates out to six scenic spots with a blend of human and natural features. Standing up and looking out from the clear lake, you can see the Bulimanku Desert spanning 30,000 mu, with dunes undulating like ocean waves. In this vast desert, riding a camel to watch the sunrise and sunset fills your heart with heroism.
Day 4:
Kashgar Old Town, Xiangfei Tomb
After breakfast, take a car to visit the [Id Kah Mosque] and stroll around the Old Town. After lunch, visit the Xiangfei Tomb and Kashgar Bazaar, then return to the pick-up location and the tour concludes.

After breakfast, visit the [Id Kah Mosque] (ticket included in the combined ticket for the Old Town), and the [Old Town] (combined ticket with the mosque for 45 yuan included).
Kashgar Old Town is located in the center of Kashgar. Kashgar Old Town has successfully passed the landscape resource review for applying for a 5A-level tourist attraction organized by the Tourism Administration.

You can also visit the [Kashgar Hetian Jade Exhibition Hall], which is famous for its top-quality Hetian jade from Kunlun Mountain and jade materials from the Yulong River in Kashgar. It integrates jade design, carving, and exhibition and is currently one of the better Hetian jade exhibition halls in southern Xinjiang.
Day 5:
Kashgar Old Town – Xiangfei Tomb – Central Asia International Grand Bazaar Airport Transfer
After breakfast, visit Kashgar Old Town, which embodies the history of Kashgar. Then tour the [Abakh Hoja Tomb (Xiangfei Tomb)], named after Xiangfei, the fragrant concubine. Next, squeeze into the largest bazaar in Xinjiang, the [Central Asia International Grand Bazaar], where you will be amazed by the dazzling array of ethnic handicrafts. After dinner, you will be transferred to the airport to end your pleasant southern Xinjiang trip!
