Kashgar City, part of the Kashgar Prefecture in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, is located in the southwestern edge of Xinjiang, in the west of the Tarim Basin. It borders the Taklamakan Desert to the east, the Karakoram Mountains and Tibet’s Ali Prefecture to the south, and the Pamir Plateau to the west. It is a border city in western China and the seat of the administrative office of Kashgar Prefecture.
Kashgar Stone City is located on the north side of Taxkorgan Tajik Autonomous County. Taxkorgan, in Turkic, means "Stone City". It stands at an altitude of 3,100 meters and is a famous ancient city site on the ancient Silk Road in Xinjiang.

K2 means "tall and majestic peak" in Tajik. With an altitude of 8,611 meters, it is the main peak of the Karakoram Mountains and the world’s second-highest peak after Mount Everest. It is located on the border between China and Pakistan. It ranks second among the fourteen peaks over 8,000 meters in altitude worldwide. Also known as K2 abroad, it is recognized by the international mountaineering community as one of the more challenging peaks to climb.
K2 (Cho Oyu) is the world’s second-highest peak, but in terms of climbing difficulty and fatality rate, it is far more challenging than Mount Everest, the world’s highest peak. The fatality rate for climbers is 1:7, a terrifying figure. Therefore, people in the mountaineering community have given it many names, such as "Brute Force Peak" and "Unrewarded Peak".
The old town of Kashgar City, Xinjiang, is located in the center of Kashgar City, covering an area of 4.25 square kilometers and accommodating approximately 126,800 residents. The streets and alleys of the old town are crisscrossed and feature flexible and diverse layouts, with winding paths leading to secluded places. Most of the residences are made of earth and wood or brick and wood, and many traditional residences are over a hundred years old.

The Dawakun Tourist Scenic Area is located in Tielimu Township, Yuepu County, 6 kilometers away from Provincial Highway 310 and 110 kilometers away from Kashgar City, with convenient transportation. It is known as the "Hometown of China’s Desert Scenic Tourism".
The Dawakun Desert Scenic Area has a natural flowing lake covering an area of more than 20,000 mu, surrounded by 2 million mu of desert. The lakeshore borders the Bulimankumu Desert with a total area of 30,000 mu, with dunes undulating like ocean waves. The vast desert and the lake nestled within it constitute the dazzling scenery of Yuepu County in the southwestern border of Xinjiang. In Yuepu County, there is also the "King of Willows" with a crown covering an area of 1.2 mu and a trunk circumference of 7 meters, which has survived for over 300 years, the "King of Poplars" that has grown for 1,800 years and whose trunk requires five people to encircle hand in hand, primitive poplar forests teeming with flocks of hares, foxes, and birds, as well as ancient tomb groups adjacent to the primitive poplar forests.

Zepu Jinhuyang National Forest Park is located 40 kilometers southwest of Zepu County, deep in the Gobi Desert, situated on the upper edge of the Yarkant River alluvial fan, surrounded by water on three sides with pleasant scenery. Zepu County is a place inhabited by multiple ethnic groups. The 19 ethnic groups here, including Han, Uyghur, and Tajik, impart a rich ethnic flavor. Ethnic music and dances are also widely popular.

Ticket price is 40 yuan. Half-price tickets are available for children between 1.2m and 1.5m tall and seniors over 60 years old. Free entry for children under 1.2m. Electric cart tickets within the scenic area are 20 yuan.
