Tianshan Heavenly Lake
Tianchi Lake is located halfway up the Bogda Peak of the Tianshan Mountains. The lake covers an area of less than 5 square kilometers and has a maximum depth of about 100 meters. The mountainsides surrounding Tianchi are adorned with spruce forests shaped like pagodas, and the lake is backed by Bogda Peak, the second highest peak of the Tianshan Mountains at an altitude of 5,400 meters and covered with snow year-round, creating a fascinating scenery of Tianchi.

The Guozigou pastoral trail was opened on November 15, 2013. The seasonal migration of herdsmen in Guozigou is a historical custom of the Kazakhs that has continued for thousands of years. The trails trampled out by herdsmen and livestock such as cattle, sheep, horses, and camels on vast grasslands, in gorges, and beside valleys are the pastoral trails. These trails vary in size and difficulty, but they are all practiced, selected, and passed down by the ancestors of the herdsmen. Herdsmen drive their cattle, horses, and sheep, carrying all their belongings, and march in a grand and spectacular manner for several days on the colorful mountain trails.

Gongnais National Forest Park is located in the mountains at the southern foot of the Tianshan Mountains. National Highway 218 crosses the scenic area and is about 290 kilometers from Yining City and only 60 kilometers from the Nalati Scenic Area.
Gongnais is Mongolian for "green valley". It is located at an altitude of nearly 2,000 meters and covers an area of over 700 square kilometers. Being upstream of the Gongnais River and benefiting from the nourishment of Tianshan snowmelt, the area is lush with vegetation and towering snow-capped spruce forests, making it a scenic spot suitable for all seasons. The unique rime ice wonders in Gongnais Scenic Area during winter also attract more and more photographers and travelers from various places, becoming famous in the Tianshan Mountains.
