Nha Trang boasts long coastlines, soft sandy beaches, and surrounding islands that are great places for boat trips and diving. If you are traveling with children or are just a big kid yourself, then definitely don’t miss a one-day tour of Vinpearl Land. As early as during the Vietnam War, Nha Trang became a resort for American troops. With the development of history, it has now become a world-famous resort integrating leisure, entertainment, sports, and hot springs. Due to its pleasant climate and the rich bromine and iodine in the sea breeze that can promote blood circulation, more and more people come here to play. Especially the fresh seafood just caught from the sea, which allows tourists to indulge in culinary delights.
Best Travel Time
Nha Trang has a pleasant climate with moderate temperatures throughout the year, generally ranging from 18-28 degrees Celsius. Among them, January to May is the best travel season, as the temperature is not too high, there is less rainfall, and the wind is not too strong, making it suitable for going to sea.

❸ Nha Trang tourism is leisure and resort-style tourism with free time for guests. During free time, if you participate in any tourism activities organized by non-entrusted local tour operators, in case of accidents, the local tour operator will only provide humanitarian assistance and will not bear any risks and losses incurred!
❹ During free time, guests need to pay special attention to their personal safety to avoid motorcycle snatching incidents, especially for female tourists over 40 years old.
❺ Vietnam is a country that prohibits gambling. Playing cards in public is not allowed.
❻ Please line up consciously when boarding or disembarking ships and vehicles. Pay attention to safety within the scenic area, especially when swimming in public beaches. Always stay within the lifeguard-supervised area and keep in contact with your tour guide and other guests to avoid getting lost or any other safety accidents.
7. Guests must gather at the agreed time and location to avoid having the entire group wait and delaying the itinerary, causing unpleasant emotions during the trip.
8. Nha Trang is small, and its attractions have limited capacity. Currently, there is no overload warning mechanism. Therefore, please understand if there are long waiting times!
Vinpearl Land
On Bamboo Island, there is a well-known entertainment venue in Vietnam, Vinperal Resort, which integrates accommodation, dining, and large amusement facilities. The word ‘Vinpearl’ is a combination of ‘Vin’ (representing Vietnam) and ‘Pearl’, meaning ‘a pearl on Vietnam’s sea’. The resort facilities include a large amusement park modeled after Disneyland, a 4D cinema, Southeast Asia’s largest swimming pool, a 700-meter private beach, a not-insignificant aquarium, a top-tier SPA club, and other facilities. Bamboo Island also boasts the world’s longest cross-sea cable car (Vinpearl Cable Car), which serves as transportation between the mainland and Bamboo Island. Overlooking the deep blue sea of Nha Trang from the cable car is like flying freely like a bird.
The sand on Vinpearl Land Beach is soft like cotton, and the crazy water activities are one more exciting than the next, with no need to queue. The U-shaped water slide is particularly thrilling, and you can also take the cross-sea cable car to visit the underwater world. Many people hesitate to leave after 8 pm.
Transportation: Take a speedboat or cable car to get there, departing from Phu Quy Port, south of Cau Da Pier.
Opening Hours: 8:00-21:00, Cross-Sea Cable Car Operating Hours: 9:00-22:00
Time Needed: 1 day
Mud Bath
Soak yourself in the sticky mud and look down at the South China Sea below the mountain. Let the warm, smooth mineral particles envelop every inch of your skin, then walk into the sunshine to receive nature’s baptism. Mud baths may look dirty, but after bathing, they will leave your skin white and smooth. Rinse off and then soak in a hot spring; it’s quite delightful.
Mud baths, also known as hot mineral mud baths, use mud substances at their inherent temperature or after heating as a medium to apply to certain parts of the human body, transmitting heat to the body and working together with its chemical components and microorganisms to achieve fitness and disease prevention.
Tips: The mud bath is located at the end of Nha Trang’s seashore, and you’ll need to walk a short mountainous path to get there. It takes about 30 minutes to bike there. The mud bath site is actually a large park where, in addition to mud baths, you can swim, cool off, and eat.
Nha Trang Beach
Nha Trang Beach winds along the east side of the city, with a coastline stretching 6 kilometers. Soaking up the sun is a key pastime on the beach. The dry season from June to October is the best time to visit Nha Trang Beach. Rows of coconut palms provide excellent shade, and occasionally, old ladies carrying baskets will appear on the sand to sell snacks or fruits. If you don’t want to leave the beach atmosphere but need a place to sit down and enjoy a drink, Sailing Club is a great choice.
Downtown Nha Trang Tour
The downtown area of Nha Trang is not large, and several important attractions can be visited within a day.
Cap Saint Andre △
Nha Trang Cathedral △
Nha Trang Cathedral is a Gothic building constructed between 1928 and 1933. It has a strong French flavor. The cathedral has a bell tower and beautifully colored stained glass windows depicting Bible stories. The stone interior walls give a cool feeling. Nha Trang Cathedral is in its pure stone color, without any colorful decorations, yet it appears magnificent and grand.
Outside the church is a bustling street, but inside, it is peaceful and quiet, like another world. Mass is held every morning and evening. You can often hear chanting or the angelic voices of the choir outside the door. The church is located on higher ground, offering a panoramic view of the entire Nha Trang.
Po Nagar Cham Towers △
This 1200-year-old Hindu architectural complex has an Angkor Wat vibe. Po Nagar Cham Towers, dedicated to the goddess Po Nagar, are like Mazu in the hearts of Chinese fishermen, protecting those who earn a living from the sea. Overlooking from the Cham Towers located on a hill, Nha Trang’s azure harbor is fully visible.
Transportation: You can rent a bicycle or motorcycle to visit this and other attractions in the city. Bicycle rental is 1-2 USD/day, and motorcycle rental is 6-10 USD/day.
Tips:
1. Remember the foreign name in brackets for Po Nagar Cham Towers (D2 Thang4) or simply download a picture to show the driver. Just show it to the driver when taking a taxi there.
2. The main entrance is usually closed. The ticket office is on the right-hand side of the tower. The ticket price is 22,000 Vietnamese dong. Enter through the side door directly opposite the ticket office.
3. You need to take off your shoes at the entrance before entering the tower.
4. There are no traffic lights at the crossings, and there are many motorcycles. Be careful when crossing the road.
Opening Hours: 6:00-18:00
Estimated Time: 1 hour
Long Son Temple △
Inside Long Son Temple, Chinese character couplets, plaques, dragon-patterned carved pillars, and other Eastern elements can be seen everywhere, filling the place with a strong atmosphere of Chinese culture.
Many glasses and porcelain tiles in Long Son Temple are painted with dragon totems and then inlaid on stairs and roofs, making them look majestic and overbearing.
The 24-meter-tall white Big Buddha, visible from anywhere in Nha Trang city, is located here. After climbing up the 150 steps on the hill behind, you can see its true appearance.
The Big Buddha sits on a lotus, overlooking the joys and troubles of all living beings. If you choose to descend the mountain via the side path, you can also see another white reclining Buddha.
If you’re lucky, you can catch the worship ceremony. Local believers sit on the ground and devoutly pay homage to Buddha, which is very impressive.
