08:00-11:00 Enjoy a scenic drive along the Tianshan Mountains and experience different landscapes as you arrive in Turpan City;
11:00-12:00 Visit the Underground Palace of Huoyan Mountain. Besides the natural scenery of Huoyan Mountain, there are also many cultural elements. Such as the enormous thermometer and the Journey to the West Cultural Gallery, all of which are highlights that will blow up your WeChat Moments. Wait for you to discover them yourself!
12:00-14:00 Visit Grape Valley. Here, you can see hundreds of different grape varieties, taste the sweetest grapes in the world, and experience the enthusiastic dances of the Uyghurs in Grape Valley, which is so captivating. Stroll under the grape trellises and feel the unique grape culture of Turpan;

15:00-21:30 Continue the journey to Korla by car. Korla is known as the ‘City of Pears Amidst Mountains and Rivers.’ Along the way, you can gradually see wind power stations on both sides of the road. The spinning wind turbines seem to be waving at you. When passing through Gangou, you can also enjoy the flowing sand waterfalls alongside the road. Upon arrival in Korla, check in at the hotel and enjoy dinner on your own.

09:00-12:00 After breakfast, take a car to the Tarim Populus euphratica Forest Park, about a 3-hour drive;
12:00-14:30 Visit the Tarim Populus euphratica Forest Park. 90% of China’s Populus euphratica trees grow in southern Xinjiang, mainly around the Tarim River. Today, we will explore the magical Populus euphratica trees, which are known for their ‘three thousand years’ lifecycle. The Tarim Populus euphratica National Forest Park in Luntai County is located in the middle reaches of the Tarim River on the northeastern edge of the Taklamakan Desert. Whether in terms of area or quantity, it represents the entire Tarim River basin and even Xinjiang. The Populus euphratica trees, with their tenacious vitality, resist the arid climate. Whether it’s lush green leaves, cracked trunks, or withered branches, they all symbolize the power of life. Around October 15th each year, the leaves of the Populus euphratica trees naturally turn golden yellow, creating a magnificent scene reminiscent of ‘the city adorned with golden armor’.

10:00-13:30 Visit the Kizil Thousand Buddha Caves. As an important grotto on the Silk Road where Buddhism spread eastward, it was once filled with Buddhist chants. After a thousand years, only remnants of grottoes and faded murals remain, making people feel sad. At the entrance, there is a sculpture of the monk Kumarajiva, with his eyes slightly closed, watching the footsteps of today’s visitors. Climb the stairs leading to the cliff, where dozens of grotto sites are distributed, allowing you to feel the power of faith. Have a simple meal during the trip after leaving the scenic area;
13:30-17:00 Travel to the Wensu Tomur Canyon by car;
17:00-20:00 Visit the Wensu Tomur Canyon, take a scenic area off-road vehicle to enter the scenic area. This was once the only way to pass through the ancient postal road connecting the Northern and Southern Tianshan Mountains, the Muzart Ancient Road. It is locally known as the "Kuduluke Grand Canyon", which means "thrilling and mysterious" in Uyghur. The Wensu Grand Canyon boasts rare ancient rock salt geological landscapes in China, unique Yadan geological landscapes in western China, and unique giant karst erosion geological landscapes in China. It is known as the "Living Geological Evolution Museum" of Xinjiang. Entering the scenic area is like entering a magnificent natural gallery;

16:00-19:00 Arrive in Kashgar, first head to the Kashgar Tourist Service Center to apply for a border pass, then we can stroll around the Old Kashgar City. Inside the Old Kashgar City, there’s also an internet-famous old tea house. Order a pot of fruit tea unique to Southern Xinjiang and some baked buns. Sit there leisurely, watching Uyghur elders sing and play instruments, and enjoy the unique slow pace of life in Southern Xinjiang. Opposite the Old Kashgar City in the evening is the famous Kashgar Night Market, where you can let all kinds of delicious food satisfy your taste buds;

08:30-14:30 After breakfast, take in the布伦口 White Sand Lake and view the distant White Sand Mountain. Enjoy the shimmering waves nearby and capture the beauty with your camera. Pamir means ‘the roof of the world’ in Tajik. When visiting today, avoid running or jumping to prevent altitude sickness. The flat China-Pakistan Friendship Highway connects the plateau, climbing all the way from Kashgar. As the altitude increases, the mountains also rise toweringly.
14:30-15:30 Enjoy lunch at your leisure;
15:30-19:00 Head to Taxkorgan County. Along the way, we will take a distant view of Mount Muztagh Ata, with yaks and sheep dotted in the distance, like a painting with a natural filter for the sky.
19:00-20:30 Visit the Pamir Tourist Area. First, visit the Jincaotan Wetland at such a high altitude, which is rare to see. Under the setting sun, take photos of herds of cattle and sheep with your camera, capturing the harmony of nature. Next, visit the Stone City to revisit the prosperity of the ancient Silk Road;

Today’s Tips: 1. The journey from Kashgar to Karakul Lake is 300 kilometers, with a speed limit of 40 km/h along the way. The driving speed is slow, so please be mentally prepared.
3. Today’s itinerary will take you to higher and higher altitudes, with the highest point reaching around 4000 meters. If you feel unwell, you can rent an oxygen bag along the way. Avoid running or jumping when getting off the bus to prevent discomfort.
4. The China-Pakistan Karakoram Highway may be interrupted due to natural disasters such as flash floods. Please be aware of this. If there is an interruption, other scenic spots will be visited according to the season.
5. The hotel conditions in Taxkorgan County are very limited, and it gets cold at night. Please make sure to stay warm. It is not recommended to take a bath in Taxkorgan County.
Day 6: Taxkorgan County – Wakya Highway – Karakul Lake – Group解散 in Kashgar, approximately 300km, 8 hours

08:00-12:00 Head to Wacha Dragon Coiled Highway. The Dragon Coiled Highway is located in Wacha Township, Tajik Autonomous County of Tashkurgan, Kashgar Prefecture. Locally known as Wacha Highway, this fully winding mountain road spans 75 kilometers with over 600 turns and an altitude of about 4,100 meters. The perfect combination of the black pavement and earth-colored mountains, coupled with the distant snow-capped mountains, belongs exclusively to the Pamir Plateau;
12:00-13:00 After lunch, return to Kashgar City;
13:00-17:00 Along the China-Pakistan Friendship Highway, coming down from the Pamir Plateau, we can see wild yak in the high mountains and view Kongur Nine Peaks and Mount Muztagh Ata from afar;
17:00-18:00 Visit Karakul Lake, overlooking the vastness and waves of the lake. With its changing colors, you can pose to your heart’s content. The lake is surrounded by snow-capped mountains such as the tall Mount Muztagh Ata, Kongur Tobe, and Kongur Nine Peaks. On sunny days, the water surface reflects the snow-capped mountains, and standing by the lake, you can look out at the towering mountains and observe the calm lake up close. This lake is adorned with magical and beautiful colors;
18:00-22:30 Arrive in Kashgar downtown, marking the end of the southern Xinjiang tour;
