From September 11 to 12, 2021, Chen Quanguo, secretary of the autonomous region’s Party committee, conducted research in Xinyuan County of Yili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture and Dushanzi District of Karamay City,特别强调 the need to thoroughly implement the strategy of revitalizing Xinjiang through tourism. He inspected the construction site of the service center of the Nalati Scenic Area Management Committee and other situations, and learned about various tourism-related aspects such as ecological environmental protection, tourism investment attraction, integrated construction of scenic spots and towns, infrastructure renovation and upgrading, as well as employment and income generation.
In addition, during other research activities, Chen Quanguo also expressed his emphasis and support for the development of tourism in Xinjiang. These actions and instructions all reflect the important position of Yili tourism in the overall development strategy of the autonomous region.
