Tips
1. Xinjiang belongs to the northwest region, and its economy differs from that of the mainland. Therefore, there are differences in accommodation, food, and transportation compared to the mainland. Please understand.
2. Xinjiang is two hours ahead of the mainland, but Beijing time is used throughout Xinjiang for daily activities; however, the rest time in Xinjiang is around 12:00 pm, and the work start time in the morning is around 10:00 am.
3. The temperature difference between day and night is large, with a difference of about 20 degrees Celsius. When sleeping at night, the air conditioning should be set to a moderate temperature, not too cold, and avoid sleeping without a quilt to prevent discomfort. Additionally, if staying overnight at Tianchi Lake, Nalati Pasture, or visiting Kanas Lake, bring outerwear, sweaters, and other clothing.
4. Due to Xinjiang’s vast territory and long travel times by car, in many cases, tourists will need to get off the bus and walk or personally experience the fun of horseback riding and camel riding. Therefore, a pair of suitable shoes is particularly important. Our agency offers various travel options, including private train tours, carpooling tours, group tours, and customized chartered bus tours. For detailed inquiries, please call 181-3962-2233 (copy and add as a friend to consult about Xinjiang travel itineraries and prices in detail).
5. Although the temperature in Xinjiang is slightly lower than that of the mainland, due to the high altitude of many regions in Xinjiang, ultraviolet radiation is intense. Therefore, tourists should prepare sufficient and effective sunscreen products. At the same time, they should also bring medications or granules for clearing heat, quenching thirst, and moisturizing, such as Xiasangju granules, to avoid discomfort caused by the extremely dry and hot climate. For tourists prone to carsickness, please bring anti-motion sickness medication.
6. When traveling in Xinjiang, due to the long journey and significant climate differences, tourists may find it difficult to adapt at first and may experience symptoms of水土不服 (discomfort caused by a change in climate or environment). Tourists should bring relevant medications and some commonly used medications, such as band-aids, cold medicine, or medications for upset stomach.
7. Xinjiang is known as the hometown of fruits, and eating fruits in Xinjiang is a great pleasure. However, avoid drinking hot tea after eating fruits to prevent diarrhea.
