　　The 18 brand-new carriages completed in 2020 include 8 Golden Diamond luxury carriages and 10 Blue Diamond carriages. Each Golden Diamond luxury carriage has a capacity of 8 passengers and consists of 4 suites with private bathrooms and queen-size beds; each Blue Diamond carriage has a capacity of 28 passengers and consists of 7 compartments sharing public bathrooms and showers.

　　Highlights of the New Oriental Train:

　　1. Compared to ordinary trains or special trains, the airtightness, stability, and shock absorption have been significantly improved.

　　2. The noise decibel data of the air-conditioning system meets standards, and the compressor uses a general compressor for trains. The vehicle has undergone rigorous third-party testing and exceeds standards before leaving the factory. The main air duct design has been updated, adopting a static pressure sealing chamber, and the air outlet adopts side outlet with electric ventilation regulators. The air compressor has an independent air supply system, which can assist in air supply when there is no generator. The air outlet is gentle, and when the vehicle’s air speed reaches a certain level, it automatically releases air pressure. This setting is unique to special official transport carriages and is not found in ordinary carriages. This carriage has increased power and improved air duct material, providing heat dissipation, insulation, moisture retention, and heat insulation.

　　3. The carriage has design highlights: 1) It currently has the largest shower booth in domestic trains; the entire train’s shower booths are dry and wet separated, and the partition material design is the most advanced currently. 2) The original train windows of 1064mm have been replaced with 25T large viewing windows of 1528mm for corridors and rooms. 3) Each room has an air volume adjustment switch. 4) The upper bunk has a damping device and can be folded up close to the wall; this is currently the most advanced in China. 5) Each bedside in the private room is equipped with a 5-pin socket for computer and mobile phone charging with USB interfaces (AC200V/300W, 2 sets in total); a set of 5-pin sockets (AC200V/1500W) is set at the multifunctional table, and a 5-pin socket with splash-proof cover (AC200V/1500W) is set in the bathroom. 6) Vacuum waste collection devices in the bathroom. 7) Exclusive ceramic toilets throughout the train. 8) The train has undergone special formaldehyde removal procedures and meets national and international standards.

　　All furniture in the carriage is made of solid wood and customized by a manufacturer designated by the China Railway Corporation specifically for official and special transport carriages. The queen-size mattress is from Qumei, the shower is from Haier, and brands for amenities such as Golden Diamond and Blue Diamond are generally Lux, Rejoice, and Safeguard.
