Facing the depths of Xinjiang’s Altay Mountains, one encounters such autumn scenery
God’s private reserve
Let us, as ordinary people, wash away the dust of our journey
I feel so blessed.
The trip to Northern Xinjiang felt like a natural progression. Going to Yutai, located on the top of Camel Peak at an altitude of 2030 meters, with a vertical drop of over 600 meters to the lake surface, offers a commanding view overlooking the entire Kanas River as it changes with the environment. It flows freely in the light and shadow, turning into a bright emerald green one moment, a serene blue-green the next, and then a vintage gray-green. Coupled with the yellow leaves of Siberian larch and birch trees on both sides of the river in deep autumn, the beauty is unparalleled. Adding to the scene are the snow-capped peaks in late autumn and the misty mountains before snowfall. Such an experience is worth documenting quickly. When entering, I heard the security personnel say that it would snow tonight. After snowfall, the leaves fall quickly, so if you come tomorrow, you may not see the same scene.
Just one glance will leave an impression in your mind forever.
Aerial view of the entire Kanas Lake, panoramic, panoramic.
Oh, autumn is such a perfect season,
The distant snowy mountains, the tranquil Nanas Lake, and the golden Siberian larch trees covering the mountains, combined with the unique autumn sun, create a perfect scene.
Leaning against the fallen tree trunk on the hillside is also a good way to frame the scene from a low angle. The sunlight falls on me, softly outlining my figure, while the branches around me reach out with open arms, displaying the vitality of life everywhere.
I don’t know why, but the imagery here is so delicate that every frame can be enlarged and paired with a scroll to become a permanent keepsake. It has a natural oil painting texture with warm and sophisticated color schemes derived from nature. People have skillfully extracted the essence from urban life to comfort every soul in need.
Entering the authentic Tuvan architecture of Hemu, most of the house structure is deeply buried in the soil to withstand the six months of snow blocking the mountains. The severe cold brings not only sensory experiences to the Tuvans but also improvements to their living environment. The wooden cabins have the traditional characteristics of nomadic peoples, with roofs generally made of wooden planks nailed into a herringbone canopy. The house bodies are stacked with logs with diameters of thirty to forty centimeters, which serve to keep warm and prevent moisture.
