You can identify their category by checking the business license number of the travel agency: generally speaking, the license number consists of L-JX-GJ*****, where GJ represents an international travel agency, and GN represents a domestic travel agency. Before signing up for a group tour, tourists should check the ‘three certificates and one insurance’, including the travel agency business license, business license, tax registration certificate, and travel agency liability insurance.
II. Emphasize Both Service Quality and Price
Tourism prices are closely related to quality. When comparing prices among travel agencies, it is also necessary to compare the price components to see if they are worth the money and to avoid being deceived by overly low intuitive prices. When selecting the consumption level, tourists should focus on the following aspects for identification:
1. Is the itinerary reasonable: A good flagship route should have a reasonable tour design, with clear priorities in scenic spot arrangements, numerous but not杂乱, and reasonable fees.
2. Clarify cost details and service quality: It is important to clarify which costs are included in the group tour fee and which need to be paid separately. At the same time, pay attention to the details of the service content, such as: departure and return times, transportation, accommodation, meals, payment of scenic spot tickets, whether a full-time tour guide is provided, whether there are shopping arrangements, whether the travel agency has purchased liability insurance for travel agencies, and whether it has recommended purchasing sufficient travel accident insurance to tourists as required.
III. Signing a Formal Tourism Contract
Be sure to sign a standard group tour contract stipulated by the Tourism Bureau with the travel agency, and have the contract officially stamped and confirmed by the travel agency (contracts signed directly between tourists and business departments or internal operational departments within the travel agency are invalid). In case of any discrepancies between facts and promises, you can use this contract to file a complaint with the tourism quality supervision department and obtain necessary compensation.
