In order to make it convenient for more people who are fascinated by her to arrive, I have done my homework in advance for everyone. All the strategies about Nha Trang are here!
Introduction to Nha Trang
Nha Trang is located in central Vietnam and is a famous seaside city and port city. It has the best beaches in Vietnam, stretching for several kilometers, and is also a suitable diving destination in Vietnam.
As early as the Vietnam War period, Nha Trang became a resort for American troops. With the development of history, it has now become a world-famous resort integrating leisure, entertainment, sports, and hot springs. Because of its pleasant climate and sea breeze containing abundant bromine and iodine that can promote blood circulation, more and more people are coming here for fun. Especially the fresh seafood just caught from the sea can satisfy tourists’ taste buds.
Best Travel Time
Nha Trang has a pleasant climate with moderate temperatures throughout the year, generally between 18-28 degrees Celsius. Among them, January to May is the best travel season, as the temperature is not too high, there is less rainfall, and the wind is not too strong, making it suitable for going to sea.
Dress Code
The temperature in Nha Trang is moderate throughout the year, so wearing short-sleeved shirts and shorts is sufficient. Be sure to use sunscreen when outdoors. Additionally, you can prepare one or two jackets because it will be very cold in air-conditioned rooms. Don’t forget to bring an umbrella if visiting during the rainy season.
Consumption and Exchange Rate

Nha Trang originally had lower prices, but in recent years, due to the rapid development of tourism, prices have increased significantly.
Time Difference
It is 1 hour later than Beijing time. If the local time is 7:00, then Beijing time is 8:00.
Power Strip
The standard voltage in Vietnam is 220 volts, 50 hertz. The power strips are German standard with two round holes that accept both flat and round plugs.

Vinpearl Land
On Bamboo Island, there is a well-known entertainment venue in Vietnam, Vinperal Resort, which integrates accommodation, dining, and large amusement facilities. The word ‘Vinpearl’ is a combination of ‘Vin’ (representing Vietnam) and ‘Pearl’, meaning ‘a pearl on Vietnam’s sea’. The resort facilities include a large amusement park modeled after Disneyland, a 4D cinema, Southeast Asia’s largest swimming pool, a 700-meter private beach, a substantial aquarium, a top-notch SPA club, and other facilities. Bamboo Island also boasts the world’s longest cross-sea cable car (Vinpearl Cable Car), which serves as transportation between the mainland and the island. Riding the cable car and overlooking the deep blue sea of Nha Trang is like flying freely like a bird.
The sand on Vinpearl Land’s beach is as soft as cotton. The thrilling water activities are one more exciting than the next, with no need to queue. The U-shaped water slide is particularly thrilling, and you can take the cross-sea cable car to visit the underwater world. Many people are reluctant to leave after 8 pm.
Transportation: Take a speedboat or cable car to get there, departing from Phu Quy Port, south of Cau Da Pier.
Opening Hours: 8:00-21:00, Cross-sea Cable Car Operating Hours: 9:00-22:00

Mud Bath
Soak yourself in the sticky mud while overlooking the South China Sea below the mountain. Let the warm and smooth mineral particles envelop every inch of your skin, and then step into the sunshine to receive nature’s baptism. Although mud baths may look messy, they leave the skin white and smooth. After rinsing off, soaking in a hot spring is extremely pleasant.
Mud bathing, also known as hot mineral mud bathing, involves applying mud substances, at their inherent temperature or after heating, to certain parts of the body. The heat is transferred to the body, and together with the chemical components and microorganisms in the mud, it achieves the effect of fitness and disease prevention.
Tips: The mud bath is located at the end of Nha Trang’s seashore and requires a short mountain trail walk to reach. It takes about 30 minutes to get there by bike. The mud bath site is actually a large park where, in addition to mud bathing, you can also swim, enjoy the cool breeze, and have something to eat.
Nha Trang Beach
Nha Trang Beach winds along the eastern side of the city, with a coastline stretching 6 kilometers. Sunbathing is a major pastime on the beach. The dry season from June to October is the best time to visit Nha Trang Beach. Rows of coconut trees provide excellent shade, and occasionally, old ladies carrying baskets will appear on the beach selling snacks or fruits. If you don’t want to leave the beach atmosphere but want to sit down somewhere for a drink, Sailing Club is a good choice.
City Tour of Nha Trang
Nha Trang city is not large, and several important attractions can be visited within a day.
Hon Chong Promontory △
Nha Trang Cathedral △
Nha Trang Cathedral is a Gothic building built between 1928 and 1933, with a strong French flavor. The cathedral has a bell tower and beautifully colored stained glass windows depicting Bible stories. The stone interior walls give a cool feeling. Nha Trang Cathedral is in pure stone color, without any colorful decorations, yet it appears majestic and grand.
Outside the church is a bustling street, while inside the church is peaceful and quiet, like another world. The church holds mass activities every morning and evening. You can often hear chanting or the angelic voices of the choir outside the door. The surrounding terrain of the church is higher, allowing a panoramic view of the entire Nha Trang.
Po Nagar Cham Towers △
A 1200-year-old Hindu architectural complex, reminiscent of Angkor Wat. Po Nagar Cham Towers, dedicated to the goddess Po Nagar, are like the Mazu in the hearts of Chinese fishermen, blessing those who earn a living from the sea. Overlooking from the Cham Towers located on a hill, Nha Trang’s azure harbor is fully visible.
Transportation: You can rent a bicycle or motorcycle to visit along with other attractions in the city. Bicycle rental is 1-2 USD/day, and motorcycle rental is 6-10 USD/day.
Tips:
1. Po Nagar Cham Towers (PoNagar Cham Towers, D2 Thang4). Remember the foreign language in the parentheses, or simply download a picture to show the driver. Just show the driver the picture when taking a taxi there.
2. The main gate is generally not open. The ticket office is on the right side of the tower, with a ticket price of 22,000 Vietnamese dong. Enter through the side gate directly opposite the ticket office.
3. You need to take off your shoes at the entrance when entering the tower.
4. There are no traffic lights at the crossings, and there are many motorcycles, so be careful when crossing the road.
Opening hours: 6:00-18:00
Time needed: 1 hour
Long Son Temple △
Inside Long Son Temple, Chinese character couplets, plaques, dragon-carved pillars, and other Eastern elements are everywhere, filled with a strong atmosphere of Chinese culture.
Many of the glass and porcelain tiles in Long Son Temple are adorned with dragon totems, and then inlaid on the stairs and roofs, appearing majestic and arrogant.
The 24-meter-tall white Big Buddha, visible from anywhere in Nha Trang city, is located here. After climbing up the 150 steps on the hillside, you can see its true appearance.
The Big Buddha sits on a lotus, overlooking the joys and troubles of all beings. If you choose to descend the mountain via the side path, you can also see another white reclining Buddha.
With good luck, you might catch up with a worship ceremony, where local believers sit on the floor to pay homage to Buddha with devotion, which is very impressive.
