Scenic Express Presidential Business Carriage: For a family or a group, the entire carriage can accommodate up to 14 people or 8 people. Each presidential carriage has 2 separate presidential rooms (shared by 2 people with a wet and dry separated bathroom), 1 executive twin room (with a separate vanity, the twin room can also accommodate 4 people with bunk beds), and 2 four-person rooms (sharing a public vanity). The entire carriage has independent toilets, showers, refrigerators, conference rooms, small KTVs, and pantries. The entire train is equipped with luxury bar entertainment carriages and Chinese-style music dining carriages, with professional chefs, meals included throughout the journey, providing a high-end VIP travel service. The noise decibel data of the air-conditioning system meets the standards. The compressor uses a train-general compressor, and the vehicle has undergone strict third-party testing and exceeds standards before leaving the factory. The main air duct design has been updated, adopting a static pressure sealed cavity, with side air outlet and an electric ventilation regulator installed. The air compressor has an independent air supply system, which can assist in air supply when there is no generator. The air outlet is soft, and when the vehicle’s air speed reaches a certain level, it automatically releases air pressure. This setting is unique to dedicated service vehicles and is not found in ordinary vehicles. The power of this vehicle has been increased, and the material of the air duct has been upgraded, providing heat dissipation, insulation, and moisture retention.
3. Highlights of the New Oriental Express:
I. The New Oriental Express has the largest bathrooms in domestic trains, using advanced partition materials and a design that separates the wet and dry areas. Toilet size: 1255mm*1087.5mm, shower room size: 1255mm*950mm.
II. The Jinzuan carriage has a capacity of 8 passengers and consists of 4 large suites with private bathrooms. The suites are currently the largest in domestic compartments; compartment size: 3536mm*2100mm, double bed size: 1500mm*2000mm. Each suite has a king-size bed, desk, wardrobe, safe, and private bathroom.
III. The Lanzuan carriage has a capacity of 28 passengers and consists of 7 compartments with private bathrooms. It has double beds with upper and lower bunks. Compartment size: 2420mm*2000mm, lower bunk size: 900mm*1945mm, upper bunk size: 700mm*1820mm. The 7 compartments share a Chinese-style and a Western-style restroom and a public shower room at both ends of the carriage. The upper bunk, equipped with a damping device, can be folded up and attached to the wall during the day to expand the compartment space.
IV. Highlights of the New Oriental Express’s Detailed Design:
1. The original 1064mm ordinary windows of the train have been replaced with current 1528mm large scenic windows;
2. Each room has an additional air volume adjustment switch;
3. Multiple plugs have been added for tourists’ convenience: Each bedhead in the compartment has a 5-pin socket for computer and mobile phone charging with USB interfaces (AC200V/300W, 2 sets in total); a 5-pin socket (AC200V/1500W) is set at the multi-function table; and a 5-pin socket with a splash-proof box (AC200V/1500W) is set in the restroom;
