Kashgar/Davkun Desert/Kashgar 300 kilometers
(1) Pick up guests arriving in Kashgar by plane or train before 10:00 in the morning and head to Davkun Desert (45 yuan/person, 10 yuan shuttle bus fee is self-paid) to view the vast desert scenery. The desert lake surrounded by sand seas will amaze you at the wonders of nature. Upon arrival, take a desert off-road vehicle to tour the desert or enter the desert on horseback or camelback for a tour, slide down the sand from a high altitude, take a yacht to tour the desert lake (all self-paid). Lunch includes flavors such as desert poplar-leaf烤鱼 and large grilled mutton. Return to Kashgar on the same day, round trip 260 kilometers. The round trip takes about 5 hours. Davkun Desert tour time is 2 hours. Return to Kashgar at 19:30 and check into the hotel to rest.
Kashgar/Tianmen/280 kilometers
(2) After breakfast, pick up guests at the hotel at 10:00 and head to Atush Tianmen Scenic Area. It is located in the southern range of the West Tianshan Mountains and is an AA-level tourist attraction. Visit the national geopark, located in a mountain valley about 18 kilometers southwest of Tugumaiti Township. Its original name is "Jiayipaqimu", where "Jiayi" translates to a place where people live. The mountains here rise steeply, with the Tianshan Sky Ladder and a natural stone arch formed by grayish-yellow conglomerate in the shape of "∩", about 100 meters wide and 457 meters high, making it the highest natural stone arch on Earth. Dry air flows rapidly through the narrow ridge, eroding the rock walls and forming wind passages. It is a great place for summer tourism. Ticket price: 45 yuan/person. Return around 17:30 and arrive in Kashgar at 19:30. Visit the Art Museum and send guests to the hotel to rest.
(Kashgar/Kashgar) 100 kilometers
(3) After breakfast, pick up guests at 10:00, and at 10:15 visit the family tomb of Xiang Guiniang, the emperor’s concubine – 30 yuan/person (60 minutes). At 12:15, visit the famous Xinjiang holy site – 45 yuan/person (60 minutes). At 14:30, lunch is on your own for 1 hour. At 15:30, visit the Hetian Jade Carving Center (30 minutes). At 16:00, visit a street full of Uyghur-style handicrafts and appreciate Uyghur handmade crafts (60 minutes). At 18:00, visit Kashgar Old Town, an ancient city with a thousand-year history, a home visit (60 minutes), view the statue of Great Man Mao Zedong (20 minutes), and at 19:20 visit the East-West Asia International Trade Market – Kashgar Grand Bazaar (60 minutes). The itinerary ends, and guests will be sent to their flights or trains. Reference flights after 20:00.
