Transportation options: You can choose to join a group tour, which includes round-trip transportation, tickets, and shuttle bus tickets, for convenient travel. Alternatively, you can take a bus from Urumqi International Automobile Passenger Station, which takes about 1.5 hours. If self-driving, depart from Urumqi and drive northeast along the expressway for about 1 hour to reach the Tianchi ticket office, where parking is free.
Itinerary: The conventional route is to take the shuttle bus to visit various attractions such as Stone Gate, Dragon Pond with Jade-like Water, West Small Tianchi, etc., after arriving at the scenic area. Upon reaching Tianchi Lake, you can choose to take the cable car up the mountain to overlook the entire Tianchi, or take a sightseeing boat to cruise on Tianchi, then visit the West Queen Mother Temple, and walk around the lakeside栈道.
The easy route involves strolling by the lake, taking photos, and visiting attractions such as the Fushou Temple.
Tickets and fees: The ticket price plus the shuttle bus fee is generally 155 yuan per person. Students, seniors, military personnel, etc., may receive discounts.
