Kanas is a fairyland that brings together all beauty and fantasy into one
Heaven is far away, but Kanas is near!
Winter in Xinjiang has fresh air and is unusually quiet, with only endless mountains covered in snow and the serene and mysterious Kanas Lake! Look at the ice and snow intertwined in the water, a fairy tale of ice and snow! Here, you can take photos in peace!
At different times of the day, with different light, you can witness a different world each time!
Winter Kanas is a veritable snow country, pure and flawless!
The lake water is flowing quietly, with stones covered in snow, stones covered in snow in the near distance, and snowy mountains in the far distance, outlining a winter ice and snow world!
The scenic elements here are an excellent location for you to practice using filters. You can master the use of auxiliary filters in just one go.
Here, you have endless subjects to photograph in the icy world—mountains, lakes, forests. You can imagine yourself as a wilderness ‘hunter’, exploring every inch of land suitable for photography in the snowfields.
A touch of sunshine illuminates the world.
Winter is not only the loneliness of nature but also a kind of loneliness within oneself.
The primitive forests are covered in snow, donning a silver coat. As the light slowly moves, we feel like we have entered a warm sea of ice and snow.
In Kanas, the uniqueness of winter allows us to see a combination of cold and warm. The forest, illuminated by sunlight, gradually spreads out.
There are elements that combine points, lines, and planes here. It’s all up to you.
Having a vast space while also possessing detailed beauty in parts, this is Xinjiang. In the winter of Xinjiang, when the branches are illuminated by sunlight, there is a hint of autumn charm spreading.
If you’re lucky enough, it’s easy to encounter foxes in the snow. This tests both our luck and our ability to seize the moment! Generally speaking, this is an extra gift for our photography.
Primitive village, your silence!
Covered in snow, Hemu Village presents a serene scene. At sunrise, enjoy the Tuwa village under the morning sun. Here, you don’t want to leave because the scenery is primitive, and everything is so quiet, like a fairy tale.
Standing in the village, looking at the touch of red on the snow-capped mountains, constructs the primitive landscape of the entire village.
As night falls, the wooden cabins, illuminated by a faint yellow light, bring a hint of warmth in the cold winter.
I will also invite local residents with unique characteristics to wear traditional attire, allowing everyone to create to their heart’s content.
Night Sky Dome
Even with lights in the village, you can still see stars all over the sky when you look up. Here, there is no light pollution. Instead, the light here better highlights the harmony between man and nature.
Under the starry sky, Hemu Village lacks some tenderness but gains a sense of mystery. Enduring the cold, everything is for better photography. When a meteor streaks across the night sky, I have a wish.
Snow is everywhere!
The snow in Kanas comes from the cold winds of Siberia, passing through the forests by the Yenisey River and crossing the grasslands by Lake Balkhash, easily crossing the border defined by humans. With just one step, it arrives in Kanas, laying a thick layer of pure white, fairy tale-like snow on the forests of Kanas.
The road is far and unique!
Rime ice. Ice and snow have frozen everything in Kanas, but in the primitive forest, you can see the bride’s cloak frozen into strips of crystal-clear rime ice, like a dream. The advantage of off-road travel for photography is not only to go deep but also to explore. Watch Xinjiang drivers freely navigate through the snowy land—who else but us?
At night, you can only capture quietly!
Under the night sky, the silence has lingered for a long time, waiting for you, the lonely one, to capture it quietly. Far away from the hustle and bustle, only silence remains here. What accompanies you are only snow-capped mountains, primitive forests, and snow mushrooms. Taking photos in low temperatures requires sufficient cold resistance and patience.
